Short break

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: refurb of rooms, air con
Location: location was very good, close to many places to see
We were put up in a very small room, as it was very hot we had to have the window open which meant we could not sleep due to the terrible noise from the street below, however we asked reception if we could move and they did accommodate us in a larger room which was still noisy but not quite as bad

Very good choice

Posted Jan 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel has a perfectly centered location. There are 2 types of rooms: the older and the newer ones. Those that have been completely refurnished, even though quite small, are very comfortable and clean. The room was described as 30sq meters large and it was probably just above half of that but overall it was a very pleasant staying.

What a view, but...

Posted Dec 25, 2013
Location: This is downtown. The metro is steeps away and one can walk to all types of wonderful places.
Best view ever out my room window from all my hotel stays in Europe. The staff was helpful & the breakfast adequate. Great location, in the middle of the old city. I was there during the off season, if you visit during Summer the street noise would be much higher. Speaking of noise, the lift was extremely noisy . Do ask for a room away from it. Overall, I would stay there again, but would sacrifice the great view for a quieter room.

Pros: The location to this hotel is excellent cause it is in the heart of downtown. The breakfast here is reasonable with a variety of items to choose from.
Cons: We were disappointed in how tiny and stuffed the room was for a twin beds. The bathroom door wouldnt lock and the carpet is extremely old and dingy. T
The location to this hotel is excellent cause it is in the heart of downtown. The breakfast here is reasonable with a variety of items to choose from....nothing too fancy. We were disappointed in how tiny and stuffed the room was for a twin beds. The bathroom door wouldnt lock and the carpet is extremely old and dingy. This hotel definitely requires a facelift. The staff at this hotel were helpful in recommending places to visit as a tourist and restaurants.

tottally satisfied, great location, good breakfast for the price, clean, friendly staff and helpfull, our room was in the renovated area(at the beggining we had booked another room that was very small 10cm2 and old, generally bad choise, but we asked to move in another room so we went to the renovated area that was perfect with a small difference in the price)..the only bad there was not free wifi..we reccomend the hotel(the renovated area) for its location..

The only advantage is its central position.

In the centre but that is about all. The breakfast was appropriate to the price tag.

Central location for sightseeing.

Pros: The location and the attitude of the staff.
Location: The hotel is close to the terminal for the iconic tram 28. Also it is close to many of the major historic sites like the castle and cathedral.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the decor was dated the room was clean. The hotel seems to be in the process of modernisation. A tea tray would have been appreciated in the room.
