Very nice hotel!Posted Nov 4, 2014
My husband and I stayed here 2 nights. The room was nice and comfortable and the location was great. The Botanical Gardens are just round the corner and the famous monastery is across the street. There are lots of places in the area to eat out and a fab flea market nearby on Sunday. The breakfast was great, Continental style with fresh fruit. The staff in the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Lovely hotel.

Great location, great staff and great breakfastPosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: As above, the staff stood out for their friendliness and helpfulness.
Cons: As above, a slight problem with the shower screen, otherwise brilliant
Location: Belem area is full of monuments to visit, including the Jeronimos Monastery, the Tower of Belem and The Discoveries monument. Loads of museums.
We stayed here for a week in October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very comfortable with a very stylish bar and lounge area. It is located in Belem, one of the loveliest areas in the Lisbon area. it is very convenient for public transport with trams and buses a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with marble bathrooms and we had a great view of the Jeronimos monastery from our window. The hotel's main asset I would say is its staff-without exception friendly and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant too with smoked salmon and champagne as well as a great selection of hot and cold food, including the famous Pasteis de Belem-fabulous custard tarts made just along the road. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, except on a Monday when almost all the monuments and museums close. There is a good selection of restaurants in the area to suit all purses. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would certainly stay there again if I visit Lisbon, which I would do at the drop of a hat. The only slight problem I had was with the shower screen in our room which did not fit properly and made it a bit difficult to have a shower without wetting the floor but it was a minor problem, more than made up for by everything else.

Best Location in BelemPosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Staff, location, size and cleanliness.
Ideally located, modernist boutique hotel with good sized rooms and bathrooms (by European standards). Slight wear and tear (as usual with most modernist properties) but very clean. The multilingual staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good with a variety of offerings (fresh squeezed and Belem pastries!!!). Most importantly the hotel is right across the street from the Monastery and within easy walking distance of all of the major Belem monuments and museums. Its almost next door to the Belem pastry shop (arrive before 9:00 to avoid to tourist lineups or after 8:00 PM)...and there are a quite a number of quaint but excellent restaurants in the immediate area. Overall a much more relaxing place to stay than in Lisbon itself...and more to see in Belem anyways.

nettes Hotel, leicht renovierungsbedürftigPosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: sehr freundliches Personal
Sauberkeit, sonst ok.

Fantastic staffPosted Sep 24, 2014
Overall we had a really good stay everything was fine except our room which was on the fourth floor (in the loft) was too hot even though we had the air con on all the time. Ask for a room on a different floor. All of the staff were a credit to this hotel and couldn't do enough to help which made our week even more enjoyable. Belem is a lovely place to stay, very near to Lisbon town, and the public transport is very easy to use.

Excellent hotel in Belem areaPosted Sep 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Excellent hotel in Belem area, 5 minutes by bus to the congress cdenter, but relatively long hop from the center of the city, and relatively harder to access by public transportation, especially from airport. Very good quality breakfast buffet, including nata pastries from Pasteis de Belem - a must! Go tho the store to have them hot from the oven with lots of cinnamon.

'Design hotel' in the historical center of LisbonPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The receptionist was the most helpful and friendly one we have ever met with excellent language skills in English, French and Spanish.
Cons: A water kettle in the room would have been nice.
Location: The hotel is located in a part of the city called Bélem with the Jéronimos Monastery and the Tower of Bélem in walking distance.
We visited Lisbon for a week in August and enjoyed this trip very much. The hotel is nicely done up in a modern style, the staff was nice and helpful, the room in a good condition and the breakfast tasty including the famous 'pasteis de Bélem' which spared you the queuing up in front of the 'Antigua Confeitaria de Bélem'. The city center could be reached by public transport in about 20 minutes.

Gut gelegenes Hotel in LissabonPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Sehr netter Empfang an der Rezeption!
Location: Das Hotel ist gegenüber des Klosters (UNESCO Welterbe) gelegen. Sehr gute zentrumsnahe Lage.
