Very well located, small hotel with charm and authenticity. Great art deco furniture. Will definitely go back there on my next trip to Lisbon.

“Great Location”

This hotel is right in the middle of everything! The staff was extremely friendly and very accomodating. We have 3 year old daughter that was traveling with us and they made sure she had a little bed to sleep on and gave us a bigger room! Not easy to find if you are driving yourself, so I recommend taking a cab or getting really specific directions. Great experience!

“Would stay there again in a heartbeat”

Great location - central to everything; the room was comfy (in European standards); the breakfast was delicious. The airline had lost our bags and the staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful - they made all the phonecalls, translated for us with the non-English speaking airport staff, made arrangements for the suitcase delivery and generally overall made us feel comfortable thus making a difficult situation extremely easy. I would stay there again in an absolute heartbeat.

“Perfect Location -- Helpful Staff”

Perfect location -- overlooking Rossio square, two minutes from the train, five minutes from the Barrio Alto for dinner, room overlooking the King George castle. Extremely helpful staff. Room was large with an excellent view.

Stayed there in July 2007. Very pleased indeed. There are different sized rooms, so ask for a large one if available. Very helpfull staff, quiet atmosphere, good breakfast. Position cannot be better.

“My home in Lisbon”

I wouldn't consider another place when going to Lisbon. It's a block from the main bus/tram/metro square and easy walking to many sites. The deco hotel itself is charming and whoever was at the front desk was always helpful and fun. Free internet access. The best TV ever in a hotel room and a great bathroom. It was really a find.

“5-star service... location, location, location”

location was extraordinary. all entertainment... dining, shopping, cafes... right outside the front door. exceptional service was always friendly and useful. public areas bright and light, not modest, but not swank either. our room on fifth floor in back had a balcony looking upon the convent. felt like a bed and breakfast in intimacy. excellent value. not for someone who needs to be in luxury.

Comfortable Euro-style hotel in the heart old Lisbon. Easy access to airport, trains, taxis and many tourist attractions. Very helpful staff.
