Expensive but fantasticPosted Aug 31, 2014
Great location near sea front. Close (5 min) to local railway and restaurants. Utterly fantastic and accomodating staff. Noise from other rooms and outside was only let down. Prices on food/drink were high but you have plenty of options to eat elsewhere. Great value and quality in hotel's grill restaurant.

Our perfect holiday in EstorilPosted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: The service of everybody, helpful. good position. clean
Cons: The food to be checked more regularly in the breakfast so that plates do not get empty and people waiting for them to be refilled.
Location: The open top bus to take you all round. The casino. The park opposite with the stalls and eating places. The entertainment each night in the park.

Close to station . Ideal for day trips to lisbonPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Staff seem to notice what you need before you do , felt very pampered . Liked the ambience , quiet type of hotel if you need to relax and unwind .
Cons: Beds could be softer and pillows a little more firm
Location: Fantastic , out the door of a morning , and either a good walk along the prom or hop on the train to Lisbon . Visited the Zoo , very good .
Wonderful staff , old world charm . Ideally located for shops , restaurants and good transport links . Had a couple of nice meals at the hotel , breakfast is excellent .

Fantastic hotel at a very good location !Posted Jul 26, 2014
The hotel is located conveniently close to the beach and the casino. The staff was welcoming and the service provided was excellent. We especially enjoyed the pool and their spa facility as well as the food as they are amazing. We felt very well looked after during our stay and we are also pleased with the fact it was very children friendly (we have a 9-year-old daughter and she said she could live there). Not mentioning the serene surrounding and calming ambiance. It is a hotel we strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing beach getaway because it is great value for money and the wonderful experience that can make your holidays just a bit more special as it did for us. Thank you Hotel Palacio for the lovely time we had there, we will be back soon. :-)

Fantastic hotel in every respect.Posted Jun 24, 2014
Location: Fantastic location, beach 5 mins, station 5 mins (short journey to Lisbon), seaside walk to Cascais, lots of restaurants and fabulous spa and casino.
Everything about this hotel is superb - very polite and well trained staff, beautiful decor, nice rooms and fantastic restaurants. Stunning pool area. Everything spotlessly clean and and sumptuously beautiful in a traditional elegant style. Definitely the best hotel we have stayed in cannot recommend highly enough.

Great breakPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Pool, yummy buffet breakfast
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities in room
Location: Everything is close by and accessible. Great surf beach 10 mins away by taxi
Lovely hotel, great pool. 50m to beach, restaurants ad train station to get to nearby town and into Lisbon/Belem for sightseeing. Delicious patisserie across the road also!

Truly magical!Posted May 23, 2014
Pros: Pure luxury with exquisite furnishings. Breakfast was a banquet with lots of choice. Waiters and waitresses extremely friendly.
Cons: A magnificent outdoor pool but like a lot of European pools freezing cold!!!!
Location: Was disappointed in Esteril itself as it has no centre or shopping area. Good beach with lovely walk along the promenade to Cascais (about 30 mins)
This hotel is steeped full of history and it is truly like staying in a palace. You are also treated like royalty and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are exceptional and their loyalty to the owner of the hotel shows in how long a service most of them have. They are always happy and ready to oblige and would recommend highly for a luxurious stay. Ask for a room overlooking the garden and pool with a balcony, as not many have this facility, although the rooms are enormous and very well equipped. Nice touch with Molton Brown toiletries.
