Great rates, booked last minute. As the name suggests, staff all speak good English and are friendly & helpful - ask them anything! Plentiful breakfast buffet, but cooked option limited to 3 items - typically scrambled egg and mushrooms and/or streaky bacon and/or chipolatas. Very convenient, right on top of Anjos metro station, direct line to city centre, change at Alameda for airport! Functional decor and rooms, but comfortable enough. Most overlook the main road though so keep fingers crossed to get a quieter one on the higher floors! Air conditioning is a blessed relief.

Great location with easy access to metroPosted Sep 5, 2013
We loved everything about our stay ... Ricardo the front desk clerk par excellence, the location, the closeness to the metro and the "residential" feel of the area. Lots of fresh food available nearby. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

good spotPosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I checked in here after checking out of another hotel I'd booked that didn't turn out to be as promised. It's in a good location, right across from a metro stop (and walking distance to the water and many great restaurants and bars). The rooms were larger compared to the other hotels I stayed in Europe (Paris, Barcelona, Madrid) that were more expensive. And the people at the desk were very friendly and helpful (I don't speak Portuguese) about showing me where different things were on a city map and telling me how to get there.

The hotel is less than 30mins, by Metro, from the airport(do NOT take a taxi) and within walking distance to 'downtown'. Our room was very clean and quiet(ask for non 'street-facing' room). Staff were very helpful and informative. What we liked about the 'neighborhood' was that it's a melting pot of different nationalities - what we disliked about the 'neighborhood' was that we saw someone 'shooting up' in broad daylight at the entrance of one of the shops not far from the hotel. Cheerio :o)

Pros: Location, clean, helpful staff
Being that this was my first hotel stay in Europe I don't have anything to compare it too, but I have no complaints about my stay at the Hotel Travel Park. Though the room was on the small size, it was perfect for one person. The room was very clean, the bath room spacious, and the bed and AC made for a very comfortable sleep each night. The staff was helpful thought not the most fluent in English. The hotel was located near the Metro or a pleasant walk to down to the river but I would advise against this after sunset. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel and would stay at the Travel Park again.

Getting around LisboaPosted Jun 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was comfortable, clean. Bathroom larger than most. Great water pressure on shower head. Friendly & helpful staff. Close & convenient to all major attractions as there was no need to drive. 1/4 block to subway station. Easy way to get from airport for 1.30 Euros. Self-serving laundry 1/4 block away @ fair price. Great buffet breakfast! If you have electronic equipment @ 110 volts, you can use hair drier electric plug to charge it. It was a life saver for our son's DSI!

Nice art-deco hotelPosted Jun 18, 2013
Pros: Air conditioning in the bedroom and a lovely sunny balcony
Cons: I have none
Location: A few metres from the metro. Only Euro1.50 from the airport
Good quality hotel for three star rating. Very close to Metro and bus links to Airport and city. Large air-conditioned bedrooms (ours had a large balcony), good choice for breakfast and a patio garden. Good priced bar snack/mini-meals. Can't find anything to fault. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Lisbon.
