Modern stylish hotel, very chic, and well locatedPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Quality, style and comfort
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Good centralish location, away from the tourist areas, to walk and see Lisbon from. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby.
An excellent hotel in terms of style and comfort with a chic modern twist. Very uber. Got an excellent deal for a weekend stay and loved the location in an up and coming part of town. Only (minor) downside was there was no view from my room, but that did not make much difference. Definitely recommend.

Smart modern hotel good facilities helpful staffPosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Clean and modern, firm bed, great shower and then espresso coffee machine was a bonus.
Cons: More hangers for clothes. The vibration from the coffee machines can be heard from other rooms though noise insulation is generally good.
Location: Short walk to the main sites but Lisbon is very hilly so take flat shoes! Buses metro and trams all reasonably priced and cover the whole city.
The hotel is in a good central location in a quiet road off the Avenida de Liberdade, a short walk from the airport bus link. There are cafés, restaurants and shops very nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and well equipped. We skipped the hotel breakfast and just bought pastries and fruit from the shop over the road. Neighbourhood is safe and quiet, felt comfortable coming back late at night. Access to rooms is secure and there is a safe in the room. Air con very effective.

Stylish hotel in central LisbonPosted Nov 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Inspira Santa Marta is a stylish modern hotel behind an unassuming old façade, just off the Avenida da Liberdade. The room is comfortable (firmish bed) and well equipped (shower only). As well as the hotel restaurant (which we didn't try) there are several restaurants nearby and many areas can be easily reached on foot. Public transport and the open top tour buses are also close by. Staff are all very professional and friendly. It is a very good central Lisbon choice.

Love this placePosted Nov 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place was awesome. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, everyone knew some English helped us find things that we normally wouldn't have found. Thank you! The only thing that wasn't a 5 was the parking, but what are you going to do about that in the city.

Lancastrians visit to LisbonPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: It was very comfortable, breakfast was very good with lots of choice and continuously replenished but the spa was the icing on the cake!
Cons: A coat hook on the bathroom door and some better storage space for luggage!
Location: Perfect location with a selection of good restaurants on our doorstep. The friendly, upmarket "burger bar" opposite was great for after dinner drinks
We had a lovely city break and enjoyed the comforts of the Santa Marta Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was immaculate and the spa was a real treat to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The area where the hotel was located was very good with a selection of small restaurants on our doorstep, all serving lovely food at very acceptable prices, and good wine too! We didn't have to worry about being heckled into restaurants, as in the main city centre area, but it was only a short walk away to enjoy all the main attractions of Lisbon.
