Good location, good value for not much money!Posted Jun 26, 2014
Cons: mini fridges in rooms to keep drinks cold
Location: close to two tube stations (Anjos & Intendente), tram 28 just around the corner, central location
Stayed there for 2 nights in triple room. Room was pretty spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. Staff at the front desk very nice and helpfull. Free wifi. Very good buffett breakfast for start of the day!

Great hotel for great valuePosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was perfect to explore Lisbon! The staff was extremely helpful in making our stay enjoyable and they took extra time to make recommendations for sight seeing outside of the normal directions you would expect from a hotel. The room was very bright and comfortable - make sure you ask for a room with a balcony! The hotel was less than five minutes walking to two metro stops and a twenty minute walk into the city center. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, close to 2 Metro stations. On a avenue that leads to the old city. On the 28 tram route.

Marvelous staff, clean room, basic but all we needed. Near subway and walking distance to downtown. Scruffy neighborhood but that made it all the more interesting. When we return to Lisbon, we will stay there again.

Watch the drug dealing from your balconyPosted Apr 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything about the Hotel is good except the location. Watched a bust in the church across the street and all the players where back the next day. Homeless shelter next door and being asked for change whenever you pass by. Front doors are locked if no one at front desk. Would not bring kids here.

Beautiful modern convenience with old world charmPosted Apr 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Lisbon City Hotel was a great booking for a reasonable price. Rooms are a bit small, but by European standards are fine. Everything in the room was quite modern and had clearly been renovated recently. Also, the room had a nice little balcony with a small table and chairs for coffee in the morning. Location was not where I would have ideally been, BUT it is only one block away from the Green Line metro station, which was very convenient. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I would stay here again for sure, especially at the reasonable rate I got (and the free wi-fi was a nice plus)
