Good location, good value for not much money!

Cons: mini fridges in rooms to keep drinks cold
Location: close to two tube stations (Anjos & Intendente), tram 28 just around the corner, central location
Stayed there for 2 nights in triple room. Room was pretty spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. Staff at the front desk very nice and helpfull. Free wifi. Very good buffett breakfast for start of the day!

Average area but close to metro

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Booked 2 rooms of same type and there were big inconsistencies with the rooms. While 1 room was enjoyable, the other wasn't. Breakfast was really poor, wouldn't recommend. A number of homeless in the area too. Laundromat up the road was helpful

Pros: Location, staff and price. Location was great-- near lots of things and close to transportation.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Hotel is close to transportation ?, Ppp
Our room was pleasant, beds were comfortable, TV was easy to operate, wifi was free. Staff was always available and accommodating and helpful . Room rate was reasonable.

Great location!

This hotel is located near a couple subway stations. Its a few minutes walk from the city center. The rooms are a bit small, but for one person it worked. The bathroom was nice for such a small hotel. The front staff was great. I came early, and had an early check in no extra cost.

Nice, new but small rooms

Posted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is new and within walking distance of the centre centre (about 20 minute walk). The metro is very close (1 block) for connection to the airport or regional trains. We used a Laundromat that was about 2 blocks away. There are a few cafe's and restaurants close by. Our friend who lives in Portugal said the area was't very safe, and insisted on driving us 3 blocks each was to a restaurant, even though we help comfortable walking around the area in the early evening, so we might have just been obvious to the area being rough. As with most new hotels, the normal (non-upgraded) room were very small, with no place to store luggage.

Basic

Basic hotel within walking distance of centre and near a metro station. Next door to a homeless centre so lots of beggars around hotel. Rooms and facilities sufficient and lots of fresh bread and cakes for breakfast but same each day. For the price we paid it was as expected.

Good value and comfortable beds

Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Comfortable bed, big room and a bath, great breakfast buffet
Cons: Not sound proof windows/rooms, and the hotel bar could have had more to offer.
Location: Not in the centre, but 2 minutes walk to a metro stop was good for us, or 15 minutes walk downtown.
Great budget hotel with friendly staff. Our room and bed were very comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with both a shower and a bath. Some details were not perfect, but overall it was very good and the breakfast buffet didn't leave much to ask for. We thought it was great value. The only thing we can complain about is that it was quite noisy at night (busy road outside and the rooms were not sound proof) and our room got quite hot at night even with the air condition on. We still had a very good stay at this hotel and would recommend it to other people. The location was good, with only a couple of minutes walk to the metro station or 15-20 minutes walk downtown.
