Very clean hotel with friendly, courteous staff.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Clean, modern with friendly staff.
Cons: Ban smoking completely from the hotel. Even though I distinctly requested a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke in the room was strong.
Location: The surrounding area is not particularly pleasant, despite claims by guidebooks that the area is becoming fashionable.
We stayed for a long weekend. Really enjoyed Lisbon but wouldn't stay in this area again, as it was very run down and shabby. Couldn't understand how smoking was allowed in so many bars where they served food. Unless you enjoy this disgusting habit then pick your drinking and drinking venues carefully.

Top hotelPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Nothing to dislike.
Cons: very minor but perhaps a box of tisues in the room plus if you are using the hairdryer it has what I presume is a safety cut out which can be a bit of
Location: Location great bang in the centre and near loads.
Simply one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, staff excelent, polite and helpful. You will not find a bigger more comfy bed in any hotel and trust me we have stayed in 500 plus. Great extras such as sample sushi, wine, port and custard tarts.

Fantastic Location, Cosy RoomsPosted Jul 8, 2014
Located within walking distance of many of Lisbon's top attractions, as well as great restaurants and bars. Intimate, clean and quiet room. Free wifi and sushi on arrival, as well as daily pastel de nata and port served in the lobby. Easily accessible from the airport via the metro or bus. 1 minute walk from Cais do Sodre train station, serving Cascais and Belem. Helpful and friendly staff.

Very central and accessible to everything.Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Location: Very central location and a great starting point for city walks which we did a lot of. Great access to trams trains and buses.
The city view room overlooked a very noisy street with loud party revellers until 4am every day of our 6 days stay. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. They recommended very good restaurants and fado venues which we tried.

Great location!Posted Jun 23, 2014
This hotel is lovely. The interior decor is light and very welcoming. The staff are attentive and are knowledgeable about getting out and about in Lisbon. The location is fantastic for exploring the Chiado and Barrio Alto districts. And you're just a 5 minute walk from the hop-on hop-off bus stops. The only little thing - if you're a light sleeper, try to not get a room on the city centre side of the hotel as the ground floor of the building hosts a couple of all-night bars. The music, though somewhat muted together with the footpath chatter could be a nuisance to some.

Fab hotelPosted Jun 19, 2014
A great hotel, we were given a fancy room with lovely decoration. The reception staff were friendly and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. Free port and mini custard tart as well as free sushi and glass of wine were bonus treats. Good location for walking to see the sights and close to public transport.

Beautiful refurbished hotel near the bay and in the old City. Initially the Location seemed very busy and a little scary, but on getting to know it, it was rich in people and places. It's definitely a young persons hang out with jazz an folk music bars just 4 or 5 blocks north.
