We couldn't have asked for more....Posted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The rooms were very clean, the hotel was located in the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen, and I cannot say enough about the family that runs the hotel. They treated us like family(even drove us to town for dinner one night). They wanted to make sure we had the best time in Sintra and we definitely did! This was an amazing place to stay and I cannot wait to go back someday.

The Best Stay of Our TripPosted Apr 10, 2012
We loved staying at this little Quinta outside of Sintra. Once we got over the challenge of finding this place we did not want to leave. You will need a car to get to this Inn. The owners gave us such personal attention. It was one of the most special and unique experiences that we had in Portugal. The owners were really committed to making our stay positive. We especially enjoyed the gardens and the pretty grounds, and we loved the homemade breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Just what we were looking for!Posted Oct 29, 2011 on Hotels.com
We found the B&B easily. Note to others who had difficulty - don't bother trying to use a GPS, except to get close. Then, just carefully follow the excellent instructions provided by the hosts. Miguel, son of the owners, gave us lots of help and tips, and great restaurant recommendations. He and his parents all speak English, so communication was not a problem. The room was clean and had plenty of room, the bed comfortable, the nights were quiet and sleep came easily. Excellent bread and pastries at breakfast, as well as fruit, ham, cheese, and lovely jams. The gardens are pleasant and the pool looked great, although weather wasn't hot enough to go in (some German guests, however, were not deterred). Five friendly dogs will greet you; Miguel works as a veterinarian. Thanks, Miguel, for a wonderful stay!

Quinta verde sintra - relaxed countryside retreatPosted Jul 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
Very relaxed, countryside setting close to Sintra (10min drive). Great for exploring the surrounding area by car. Good pool with beautiful views. Excellent service from the owners. Very friendly and helpfull. Short drive to beaches. 40mins from Ericeira. Recommend for couples or families. Nice contrast to bustle of Lisbon...
