Close to Metro and SuperMercadoPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Easy taxi ride or metro from airport. We arrived too early in the morning to take the metro on a saturday.
Cons: A little bit of maintenance on the flooring in one of the elevators. very minor.
Location: Walk to the Metro and Supermercado only minutes away
We arrived at Lisbon airport around 5:30 AM from USA on a Saturday morning. Got to hotel around 7AM, as we had one lost bag and needed to check in with the lost baggage person. Took a taxi around 15 euros, for two people and one suitcase. We had paid for Friday night as we wanted to have a room upon arrival. No problem, the room was ready. Very comfortable- living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath. Room 601, top floor on the back. No road noise or any other noise. Great for hot shower and naps to adjust to time zone. Internet in room worked great. Password information was right on the modem. Awesome supermercado about 5 minutes walk. I believe it opens at 9:30AM or so and is open late- 10 PM? Kitchen had plates, skillet, frig etc. very adequate. Metro stop is also 3 or4 minutes away. Be cautious using the ticket machine. We had 'help' from a fellow, he ended up stealing our change when it came out of the machine! 3 euros or so. i would have given it to him for helping, but instead he reached in the tray and took it. Lesson learned i suppose.

Large apartment near Metro StationPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: The price, easy access to public transport to get anywhere in Lisbon and the size of the apartment.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Gulbenkian Museum & Edward VII Park.
Short walk to Metro station and a short journey into the city centre. Huge Cortes Inglis department store around the corner, short walk to Gulbenkian Museum and Edward VII park. Apartment was huge and very well appointed. Quiet area except for aircraft on their landing approach but hardly noticeable as they were still high up. The Metro station is on a direct line to the airport - much cheaper than taxis and quicker than the bus (see Wikipedia's opinion of Lisbon taxi drivers!). Apart from the established sights of Lisbon & Belem, Parque d Nacoes is a must see of good ultra modern buildings, Oceanarium, river promenade, marina and big modern shopping mall. Also on a direct metro line from the hotel. Outside, you must go to the mountain town of Sintra and its Palacio d Pena.

Great Kitchen & LocationPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
My wife likes to cook and the kitchen was great, large & had all the utensils we needed. Apartment had a separate bedroom, 2 flat screen TV's, a couch in the living room & a modern bathroom with a bidet. I thought the apartment was an incredible value.

Excellent hotel in an upscale neighborPosted Jun 9, 2013
We spent 5 nights at the hotel and I must say that was a wonderful experience . Personal was very friendly and helpful . Hotel room was very spacious and very well equipped . The mattress were excellent. The only inconvenience was that they could not provide the key for the safe.

The hotel was close to the Metro station which was very convenient as that is how we got around. Also, just before the Metro there was a little place that served coffee, breakfast rolls & the like, plus sandwiches and we had breakfast there each morning before we set out for the day. Our "apartment" had all the ammenities for cooking, but we chose not to do that even though we could have done so easily.
