“"Can't wait to go back"”

The location is excelente, right across from a beautiful park, and a view of the Tagus river, close to shopping and the very center of the capital. The service is also excellente, they serve a very good breakfast and the cleanliness of the room and hotel is perfect. The only down side was the size of the room, very small for a couple with big pieces of luggage. We recomend the SANA REX , and we can't wait to go back.

“It was better than I expected”

As I based my choice on review that I have read here I must admit it was good choice. We, me and my wife, have stayed there 11 days, end of August, and I have no complains at all. Only one thing my be mentioned. Breakfast they are serving is a good one but they did not changed single item at all. It was boring every morning same things on the table. Maybe we stayed too long. Hotel is non smoking, warning for those having bad habits. Metro and bus stations are 10 min waking distance but way to hotel is pretty uphill ! All in all, nice small 3 star Hotel and I am highly recommending it.

“Friendly and competent staff”

I chose the Sana Rex Hotel due to its proximity to the lovely park across the street and the relatively close location to the downtown area. The staff were friendly and helpful especially in reuniting me with my luggage that did not arrive with me at the airport. My room was spacious and clean. I am surprised it was not rated higher. One minor complaint is the limited room service menu. There are not a lot of dinner nor shopping options in the area so a more extensive room service menu would have been appreciated since I was on a working trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

“Could be better for the price”

Although not a long walk from the historical centers of Lisbon, the Sana Classic Rex is not the best deal for the money. The rooms were cold...literally, and a bit too small. Other 3 and 4 stars hotels nearby were much more cozy and pleasant for the same price.
