Cons: Have proper feather or duck down pillows. Had really bad neck because of this!

great location - best in Sesimbra

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: nice hotel - good pool area
Cons: the breakfast coffee - always cold - expresso machine always out of action - apart from that, breakfast pleasing
Location: lovely location - amazing views - need a sea view room - castelo wonderful - Setubal good shopping
we had a great time - Sesimbra a great place to visit - not much going on in Sept though as most tours finished - restaurants great fish (not much meat or veggie options)

Very pleasant hotel in excellent location.

We had a great deal of help from the most pleasant reception staff. Breakfasts were very good, though one coffee machine wasn't enough. The cleaning was superb, but the hotel bar menu could be more extensive.

Great location, with great facilities!!!

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Location, facilities, cleanliness and professional/friendly staff
Cons: Quality of mattress. If you want a king size bed (and not a double single bed), try to find a way to specify it in your reservation!!
Location: Many great restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Your are about 1.15 hrs from Lisbon. We went 3 times by bus. Don't miss the Ocenarium. Porto is a must!!
We have stayed for 2 weeks, from June 25th - July 9th 2014. Overall, great place for vacation. Location is perfect. Facilities are superb (pool, terrasses, breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel's restaurant). The only thing they could improve is the quality of the mattress... Very harsh, from our point of view. They have tried to fix it it with additional sheets... It was much better :) From the airport/Sana - You can reserve a taxi with with Badger Tour Sesimbra. Francisco is a professional and great guy. If you wish to take the metro bus, expect a 1.30 hr ride (easy but a bit long, after a 7 hrs flight). We have rented a car with Francisco to go to Porto. It takes 4 hrs to get there... But it's really worth it!! Many great restaurants around!!! If you are looking for a nice beach (sea is cold...), while discovering some cities in Portugal (Lisbon, Sintra, Porto, etc.,), Sesimbra is a nice location. Enjoy,

Excellent location right across from the beach

This is a fab hotel, 30 seconds from the soft sandy beach. The rooftop pool is brilliant and a lovely place to relax with brilliant views along the beach. Great breakfast, big choice. You can borrow towels for the pool.

All excellent except there should be a clear warning about the problematic underground car park which is exceptionally difficult to manoeuvre around without scratching car

Close to beach great food in town

Pros: Hotel was clean, staff very helpfull, good breakfast, lovely roof top with swimming pool, the room to book is the sea view a little extra cost.
Cons: Use of an anti-bacterial spray for the table tops and a bit more travel information at reception. Ie, list of bus times, walks around the area.
Location: You can walk the coast, jump a bus eat & drink in with the locals who try their best to help you. Swim and sunbathe on the lovely beach.
The hotel is only across a single road (oneway) from the sea also with in 5 mins walk to some great restaurant. Hotel very well manned any sand on the carpet was cleared away quickly, reception staff very helpfull, breakfast was help yourself great mixture of food & drinks each day, table cleared and reset very quick plus chairs cleaned of any food, JUST (the cleaning of the table top was only a cloth NO anti-bacterial spray used), price of food & drink in hotel high compared to around the area, swimming pool & roof top area was great to relax, there is car packing at hotel at a cost we did not use a car, the local buses are great & cheap single to Lisbon €4.30.

As a young family with the 16 months old baby, we found the Hotel Staff was Extremely helpful and excellent, only the breakfast was quite disappointing, low food choice, but strong recommend to friends and family .Team Zed
