Nice hotel for a quick family trip to Lisbon, you can walk to many landmarks and has parking available at an additional cost, luckily we didnt expericed any issues with the elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful, they all spoke a little english. We stayed in the 6th floor and were still able to listen to the street noise, so I would suggest that you choose another hotel if you are a delicate sleeper, we did saw the homeless people but they are harmless many them wished us merry christmas, it was an eye opening experience for the kids and as my husband said they are part of the experience. The breakfast was ok not as bad as I read in other reviews, but I do concur the coffe its not the best. I would recommend this stay and definitely will consider again if we go back to Lisbon.

The staff is very friendly , the bathroom is very spacious and everything is cleaned to a good quality. The restaurant in the hotel is very good , offering lovely dinner with vegetarian options. Breakfast was included in the price and was also of good quality, the hot chocolate was amazing and the fresh orange juice. There was a variety of options for vegetarians to choose from. They should put some chocolate in the room fridges and allow free refilling of water bottles.

Staff were excellent, they were very attentive and friendly. The hotel bar was reasonably priced too. The property was very clean, and the concierge were great with their dinner recommendations for nearby restaurants

Our cash was stolen at Czar hotel in Lisbon
On May 25 we left our bags at the hotel because the room wasn’t ready, they have an area we’re they store your bagas and give you a ticket to claim it. After a long day of tourism we came back to the hotel, claimed our bags and went to the room to find out that all our cash was STOLEN for m backpack. We didn’t put a lock to the backpack because was suppose to be in a “secure” area but that’s not true. NEVER leave your bags at the Czar hotel without a lock! In addition breakfast is not included, is $12 per person and is not good, go outside and eat something good.

The hotel is generally OK, but definitely overpriced and in need of some renovation. Surrounding area is seedy, there are quite a few homeless people sleeping in the tents. Underground parking (elevator) is available for a fee. A subway station is very close.

The young woman on the day shift was more than courteous and so helpful in saving the tour accommodations I booked privately. She made calls and saved the day!!! The accommodations were lovely as well!

Not so good service on details and cold room
We stayed 3 people for 4 days in the hotel and there was only one bottle of water provided only one day. And There was a coffe machine and only provided 3 capsules of coffe for one day, that is not ok, what if the room is rented for different people every day? Don’t you provide this new people with water me coffee every day? The hair dryer was getting of after 30sec of use was hard to get ready with that The window was not completely closing so the outside noise was very loud and the cold was getting In, so first day we felt cold and sick and the next ones had to turn up the heating very high to avoid that so that is not eco friendly.

No one at the front deak
There was no one at the front desk, waited 5 min Had to leave for airport. I asked the next couple to pls tell the hotel I had to run and left my keys at the front desk. He said he does too. The check in staff was very friendly. Bathroom door was very awkward. It’s transparent, I travel with my two teenager boys.

Property is not too far from the airport, but far from any of the activities we wanted to do. We arrived late, and there aren't any restaurants around the hotel. I was not impressed with Lisbon based upon the location of this hotel. Once we explored more, there are other areas that I would have chosen that have more activities, more restaurants, and that are nicer.

About a 30 min walk to the center plaza
This hotel was fantastic, helpful staff, decent location, near grocery markets for fresh fruitsand beverages but the gym was outdated. old treadmill, no eliptical and could not navigate the tv well

The hotel was good, the room was very small, but comfortable. When we got in, the room had a really strong smell, and gave me tears for a while. I contacted reception, and they said someone would come to check it out, but no one came. All I wanted was a fan to air the room. The one man we checked in and out didn’t allow for an early check in or check out … but my fav thing was that they allowed us to store our luggage.

Booked the superior triple room . It was a decent size . The staff was very nice and accommodating . We came back to a clean room every single day . We were able to check in early and they held our luggage once we checked out and had some time before our flight . I would definitely stay again .

Very nice hotel, located in a walking distance from touristic Baixa district. My room was comfortable. I had an issue with the bath but it was fixed in no time thanks to the friendly service guys.

BEWARE!
This was the worst hotel I've ever seen in my life. Horrible costumer service. The was no one at the reception other than the security guard who ask me for money. Weird vibe, no parking even though the app stated that there was. Dirty and felt unsafe. Do not recommend to anyone.

As warned, the night check ins, after 11 pm, are currently carried out by the security guard but with all indications and documents ready and prepared by the receptionists. We have 3 floors of indoor parking with elevator access. We also cannot admit that you say that the hotel is dirty when this does not correspond to the truth, we have strict control over the cleaning and disinfection of all spaces. The staff were great, and there’s nothing really “wrong” with this place. There’s nothing special about it, either, though. The location is so-so, and the rooms are much smaller than how they are presented in with online. The main issue is that you just don’t get what you pay for. Only two stars because it’s expensive for Lisbon (prices change, of course, though), while the hotel facilities merely adequate, at best, All of the staff, though, really are wonderful. They REALLY went out of their way to help me, especially the Ukrainian woman at the front desk. If you get a good price, it’ll work (again, there were no problems, really), but otherwise it’s just meh.

Good hotel but surrounding area in the street need cleaning up. Litter, rubbish and homeless people sleeping rough near hotel will put travellers off.
