An oasis and a gemPosted Jul 10, 2012
Location: Slightly out of town but well placed for a gentle stroll there....
This is a place that we would definitely return to. The hosts are most welcoming and the guesthouse indeed has plenty of charm. The rooms are comfortable and the pool is a fantastic place to pass the time of day. The breakfasts are spot on and we could not fimd fault anywhere. Not that we even bothered looking! My wife is pregnant and on leaving, our hostess Suzanna gave us a little gift for the baby (a sweet babygrow)... when does that ever happen in this day and age. Wonderful....

Great place to stay in CascaisPosted Nov 28, 2011
Location: Location of this hotel was ok if you have a car
Small hotel with personal service from the owner. Need a car or take a taxi to get to Hotel. Beach and restaurants and centre of town are a little far to walk. Breakfast was great.

Charm of Cascais.Posted Sep 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
What a find....just a few minutes from Cascais this hotel is a little gem. Our well appointed room was right at poolside with direct access through french doors. Table set for breakfast on the terrace right outside our door each morning.Small and homely , run by a lovely couple who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.........we will be back.

Would go back over and over againPosted Sep 17, 2011
This was one of the loveliest places we stayed in Europe. The Inn is as charming as it's name.It is beautiful, quiet, clean and the people are more hospitable than you can imagine. Breakfast is all home made and delicious.Afternoons at the pool were exactly what we needed after days of walking in the hot sun. The owners were great with recommendations about local sites that were extraordinary that we would not have known otherwise. The train ride to Losbon is about 40 minutes and passes by the sea and some sweet neighborhoods. It was very easy to navigate the transit from Cascais to Lisbon .At the end of our two week travel from Spain to Portugal this was the most wonderful place to really relax and appreciate the journey! We did have a car and If you are staying at the Inn you Would want a car in order to experience the beauty of some drives with spectacular vistas!
