Nice hotel, great sea view, worth visiting.

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Sea view, nice staff, swimming pool. Good breakfast.
Cons: Wi-Fi service; bed a bit hard; veranda furniture could be updated.
Location: Cascais about a 10 min walk or taxi 5 mins about 5 euros each way. Marina nearby and a few restaurants/bars.
Had a great time nice and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and they provided a good breakfast. Location is good but be prepared to walk about 10 minutes (downhill) to Cascais. Taxi about 5 Euros. Would recommend the hotel.

Pros: Lovely hotel,2 pools, spa, good food, friendly staff. very clean. Convenient for town, beach, parks and museums.
Cons: Coffee making facilities in room.
Location: Marina is a couple of mins walk. Town and beach about 10min walk. Museums, parks,restaurants.. nearby.Train to Lisbon,Sintra very cheap. Lovely shops.
We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, so we knew what to expect. It didn't disappoint. Good service, very helpful and friendly staff. walks nearby, plenty of restaurants in the town. Loved the shops and Marina.Trains to Lisbon,Sintra and Estoril are comfortable and very cheap. We met people who have been going to this hotel for several years. I would certainly go again.

Lovely hotel great staff

Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, spacious room
Cons: New towels
Location: Near marina, local park, cycle path, about 5 minute walk into Centre.
Great hotel the staff were extremely helpful. Our room had a sea view with a small kitchenette which came in handy, the room was spacious and very clean, could do with new towels though. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty of choice. Hotel near marina and good place for walking.

Nice place in a nice location

Posted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Food, location, clean, staff.
Cons: Room needs a sofa, TV quality.
Location: Cascais was a very nice village/town with a 30 minute train journey into the centre of Lisbon
We stayed for 3 nights and it was a pleasure to stay there. The food was plentiful and of an excellent quality. We were expecting a buffet service for dinner but were pleasantly surprised to be offered any choice from the menu. The room had some strange lighting with lamp-stands and no over-head lightning which made the room dim. The bathroom was extremely bright in comparison. The TVs had poor signals which made watching them hard work. The rooms could've done with a sofa for the family rather than a table and chairs, but other than that the place was really good and I would highly recommend this place for anyone else going to stay there.

Nice complex some rooms need updating

Posted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and friendly
Cons: Some rooms need updating
Location: Nice location had some nice walks in the grounds. I didn't go out nearby but went to Cascais on the shuttle bus or by taxi.Cascais is lovely.
I had a pleasant stay the staff were great and friendly. The first room I was in overlooked the restaurant and was noisy so I moved to a quieter room. However the first room although noisy was to a good standard the room I moved to was in need of an update the fridge was too small and the net curtains had holes in and the carpet was uneven and the table on balcony needed replacing the beds in both rooms were fine and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and the shuttle bus into Cascais was great.

A three-day positive stay

Posted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: See above. Prices in the bar and restaurant were very fair.
Cons: Lighting. Maybe it's green policy, but bedroom lights were very dim and did not enhance my sleeping quarters. Made the room seem very gloomy.
Location: Cascais town itself and other excursion destinations, including Lisbon itself. Also, golf courses, I believe.
While the hotel, except for the upper sea-view bedrooms, did not overlook the sea, its position was perfect for a short stroll into pretty Cascais town (less than 10 minutes on foot). Amenities and cleanliness were excellent. Hospitality all one could wish for. Breakfast was truly superb and catered to every taste and palate. I went late in the season, but the hotel swimming pool was great and beautifully maintained.

Nice ocean front hotel.

Posted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Conveniently located and helpful staffs.
Cons: Lighting!!! The room is so dim that you cannot do any reading.
Location: The hotel is right by the ocean, we enjoyed the sunset walk very much. It is also within walking distance to restaurants & train station.
Very nice ocean front hotel and convenient to train station and restaurants. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Excellent service. We were pleased to have the convenient of an in-room kitchenette. However, the lighting in the room was so dim that my husband was joking about packing our own light bulbs on our next visit.
