Being a Saturday night, I was woken a few times in the early hours by drunken arguments, and separate incidents of crazy drunk women screaming and yelling abuse at no one in particular. Nowhere to eat after 9:30pm so have dinner before your movie or show (we went to City Hall to see Circus Oz). Also, the town is dead on weekends as no shops are open on Sunday and they close at 1 pm on Saturday. We got to Lismore at 2pm on Saturday and the place is a ghost town. Ignore any opening hours signs at the entrance of cafes or restaurants as this is not reality. One particular place had hours open till 3 am....closed at 9:45pm. Lucky we had 2 minute noodles back at our room!
Stayed for a night with my wife n 2 years old boy. It was a very very hot day. Temperature outside was 42 but a good aircon helped us to stay cool inside. Pool was clean and we enjoyed it. Reception was quick n professional. Overall very happy.
A great spot to either walk around the stunning surrounding neighborhood up the hill, or a close drive in to the heart of town for top food and good coffee. Will definitely include this hotel and Lismore on our next road trip.
