Nice Hotel, Close to MallPosted Dec 16, 2013
Cons: Bar open a bit later
Location: Lots of other hotels nearby and felt safe in the area. Good lighting around buildings. Shopping mall and stores nearby along with good places to eat
Breakfast was convenient and selection good. Afternoon snack (home made granola bars) to die for - Delicious! Bar could stay open a bit later. Staff were very helpfull with any request. We enjoyed our weekend and would stay there again.

Pleasing EnoughPosted Nov 11, 2013
For the most part we enjoyed our stay at HGI. Compared to other comparable hotels, it would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast and not have to pay for it separately. Especially since the breakfast was just ok, and nothing to write home about.

Great weekend stay just outside of ATLPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: The staff, the location and the great rate.
Cons: Nothing. I got exactly what I needed.
Location: There's a shopping center down the street with a multiplex and a decent food court.
Staff was great. Polite. Attentive. Nice breakfast for about twelve dollars. Microwave and fridge. Comfortable room and close to a shopping center. Great value. I'll be back!

We enjoyed the short stay. Everything went very well. The bedding and pillows were excellent with good pillow options.

I was unhappy with the customer servicePosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: The hotel itself is in a nice area and is worth the money but not the bed bugs
Cons: better staff
Location: Good restuarants and shopping and convenient access
I have bed bug bites and I had a difficult time getting a response from the hotel and the corporate customer service was not helpful. I hope no one else was affected. Still have not got a proper response from the hotel. The hotel customer service response was a very big disappointment and shows lack of management organization. During breakfast the hotel staff were having a wonderful time amoung themselves and not too attentive to the customers

3 star hotel in a depressed area .Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good hotel for the "Country Inn and suites "type of customer . Rooms clean neat but feels like hotel . All the hype is Lobby appeal. Hyatt Next door is a better choice at price point . Euro lux feel . Resort style rooms . Free breakfast . Area around these hotels in very depressed . Stonecrest is a C+ mall at best . Eateries have a high end feel but horrific service . Drive the extra 30 mins in ATL city limits to stay and eat .

Nice hotel, very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Stonecrest mall located directly across the parking lot within walking distance.

Average...Not Worth the PricePosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I think this hotel is overpriced. The cleanliness and maintenance is okay but it's not that close to any of the attractions in the Atlanta area. The TV service was mediocre in the rooms, offering no movie rentals or anything. I thought there should have been free breakfast for what I paid for the room. Overall, this hotel is nothing more than a glorified Super 8. I've spent far less for what they offer.
