Great hotel!
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: I would have to say my favorite thing was the bed! Very comfortable and the pillow's were also comfortable which is very rare to find!
Cons: The least favorite thing was the fact that they didn't have a hot tub.
Location: The location was back away from the busy street but still conviently located by anything you may need
Me and my husband stayed here for our 10th anniversery and it was a wonderful experience! I dealt a lot with Robin and she was wonderful! She took care of whatever I asked about! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good! Nice to not have to cook! I don't remember the young ladies name that checked us in but she was extreamly nice! Very pleasent stay! Will be back!

Good deal. Misleading info on fitness center
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Room was nice. Breakfast was perfectly adequate but not exceptional. Would have liked more than watermelon and bananas (which they were out of our second and last day) for fruit. Egg, biscuits and sausage were good. Staff was attentive and friendly. "On site" fitness center had 3 machines, no towels and limited hours. There was free access to a nearby 24 hour fitness center and that is the picture they show on the website. We were frustrated because a gym was important to us and getting a pass each day was not what we were hoping for. The website was misleading. We used the pullout sofa bed and there were no linens in the room for that. The receptionist also gave us one less breakfast voucher than we needed. These problems were fixed quickly and pleasantly, however.

Best Western Premier Governors Suites resent stay.
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: It was clean and easy to reach from Hwy 430.
Cons: Noise from hallways.
We enjoyed the stay except for one factor. Our suite was on the ground floor across from the breakfast courtyard. The noise from the court yard could be heard in our room and woke us several times before we were ready to get up for the day. Breakfast began at 7:30. Other than that one factor, our stay was very nice.

Lovely property, but this is not a family hotel; which is not evident when booking. Also, even though presented as a suite hotel, rooms are quite small. Certainly, not what one would expect when requesting/reserving a suite . Beds were exceedingly comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. However, there were no linens, for the sofa bed, it was quite late when this was realized, so we improvised. WONDERFUL staff.

Outstanding Breakfast

This small hotel is not in a location I would have chosen (at the west edge of the city), but it turned out to be a gem. It was a bit difficult to find; there is no large signage and it's tucked back between some strip malls and housing areas. Once there we were so pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed some exercise and walked a few blocks to find a place to eat supper, although we might have tried the restaurant in the hotel. The suite was very comfortable and clean. The lobby was especially inviting with many plants and an outdoor cafe motif for the breakfast area. The lady in charge of the breakfast made us feel so welcome, and the breakfast was way above your normal free breakfast. She comes in to prepare foods herself. The eggs/spinach/ham dish was delicious, as were the muffins. It was such a pleasant breakfast area, with wrought iron tables (with vases of fresh flowers) & chairs surrounded by a garden of live green plants. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Bed was best thing about room. Just don't plan to go to be early. The noise from the resturant in the open atrium is very loud. Otherwise very nice. The coffee was also very good

Good, Not Great
Posted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall was a good room. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and expected it to be special for the price paid. But it was no different than the other suites. The room was clean and well maintained. My only true complaint is that they offer the room as having a balcony & a separate tub/shower. However, there is no balcony on any room and there is only a tub/shower combo. The staff were friendly and everything else was great.
