Hotel hell

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Nothing worked not even the heat. They refused to change rooms or refund our money. The pool, spa, hot tub, and heat was btoke. Was no game room as advertised. Continental breakgast had a bug crawling out of it. Employees were even worse.

Hotel didn't honor expedia reservation. Cleaning lady is abrasive and a liability to the hotel.

Out of Order

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Microwave. Quiet. Good air conditioner. Cheap.
Cons: Customer service skills, overall repair of facilities and appliances.
Location: Near a library and police station. Conveniently located near a junction of two interstates. Has an indoor pool.
Most of the hotel was out of order. Advertised free breakfast but restaurant was shut down for repairs. Had in-room fridge & microwave as advertised but fridge didn't work. Called that day, they came to verify it was broken & asked if they could replace it in the morning. I agreed, then was gone all the next day. On return, found fridge still broken. Had to ask them to come back. This time, a different person got it to work temporarily. But by the next afternoon, was broken again. I gave up. Other things that actually had Out of Order signs: 1 out of the 2 ice machines, the only soft drink machine, the public computer in the lobby. Overall, hotel was dingy, old, musty. Tub was so grimy I bought tub cleaner/disinfectant to use before I would take a shower. Located in a high-crime part of town, but at least it was across the street from the police station.

Not bad.

Pros: Price
Location: Close access to downtown.
Room was very large, we had a fridge and microwave...found a strange Hindu tome that was stowed with the Bible. Staff was nice to us, and let us check in early. The whole place was a bit grungy, but not for $50, we didn't mind.
