We stayed at Embassy while my dad had surgery. It's close to Baptist Hospital. Rooms are all suites and nice. Food, especially breakfast is excellent.

hotel smelled like mildew

hotel was ok overall. Had to pay for special park when all other parking was taken. Had to pay for Internet when restaurants around had it for free. Hotel needs a facelift.

Access in and out of hotel was difficult traffic

Tub and shower appeared not to be clean. Rusty color on floors and shower area. Grout in floor tile was very, very dirty.

Dirtier than average for an Embassy Suites. Old orange found in bedroom. Several light bulbs burned out in room. No "do not disturb" sign. Cookie crumbs at front door for day and a half of the stay. Inexpensive. Otherwise a typical Embassy Suites.

Nice hotel close to shopping areas and eateries.

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: The size of the suite and the amenities.
Cons: The temperature of the food warmer for the breakfast buffet could be adjusted so that the food is hot when you sit to eat it,
Location: Shop, and eat.
It was quiet, comfortable, refreshing, and the price is reasonable..

We love this hotel. The suites are great and the breakfast is a nice add on. We stayed for New Year's Eve. Our only problem was that we didn't have a shower curtain. We didn't realize it until very late. They offered to bring one up immediately, but we didn't want to have someone coming up that late, so we just made due without it.

Very pet friendly

Pros: The staff, the areas to walk dogs, the location, the availability of nearby shops and restaurants.
Cons: Hire or schedule more staff for busy times, i.e. breakfast on weekends.
Location: We ate across the street at Kobe...excellent food and friendly staff, reasonably priced. Many shops within walking distance including a Starbucks.
We stayed at this hotel for an lover night quick trip. We got a great deal on our room and decided to give Embassy Suites a try. The location was well located for out plans and easy to find. The staff was very professional and pleasant. They are very pet friendly and there are plenty of areas to walk dogs as well as strategically placed clean up station. Soundproofing of the rooms was above expectations because all rooms open up to the atrium area which can be very loud with waterfalls, join ponds, bar/restaurant areas and check in area. The only reasons this hotel did not get a full 5 star on overall is because the room service was very slow & the breakfast service ran out of plates, bowls and some of the food items which took over 10 minutes to refill. The staff was very apologetic about this but running out of plates really is not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. With that said the breakfast offerings were tasty, well prepared and fresh. The variety was impressive (both cream of wheat and oatmeal for example) and what was supposed to be hot was hot, cold was cold.
