Well-appointed hotel close to the interstate

I do a lot of traveling in north Louisiana and Mississippi and have had some rather terrifying hotel experiences, particularly in rural areas. This hotel was like an oasis -- well-appointed, comfortable, clean, and accessible. I was very happy to have stayed here and wished I could stay longer.

Very clean and friendly. I checked into the hotel about 3 hours too early and they went ahead and got me in the room.

We were able to have a great romantic get away that also included having a nice diner at one of our favorite restaurants. There are a variety of restaurants that are close by, something for everyone.

I purchased a double on Hotels.com. Upon arrival, I was notified that I they did not have any vacancy. This is after I had already PAID and RECEIVED my hotels.com room guarantee. After delaying for some time, I was given a room. A single. With a business partner. After I got to the room, I was pleased to find out there was a fold out couch, so I would not have to sleep on the floor and give the coworker the bed. Then, when I unfold the couch, there were no linens. I searched the entire room, still no linens. When I call the front desk and politely ask for linens... they argue that there are linens in the room! Finally, after 30 minutes of haggling, including the desk attendant hanging up the phone on me, I get linens so I can sleep in the bed. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel. Apparently even after you pay hotels.com you are not guaranteed a room. Then if you do get a room, you better not have any special requests.
