“Best place for families with kids.....”

Holiday Inn Express and Suites is my new favorite chain for our family travels. Our family of five had plenty of room to spread out. The extra bedding for the pull-out bed was a clean, soft downish comforter, just like what was on the beds, with an extra set of sheets. These were already waiting in the closet with no extra asking! No crumby old wool blankets for the couch sleeper! The wet bar area, with fridge, coffee maker and microwave was perfect! Warm cookies were served from 7-8pm daily - and the fresh start breakfast was a hit with the kids and a big time and money saver for us. While the location is not necessarily walking distance to much, it was a great home base for sight seeing Little Rock - easy to find right off the freeway. The decor was modern traditional - with granite look for counters - new paint and carpet. Very clean and welcoming. Loved it all around.

We got a 1st floor jacuzzi suite and loved it. Nice, spacious rooms with very modern furnishings and design. Above average continental breakfast, quiet location, and a friendly staff made our second stay at the HI Express - West LR a good one. Compare this hotel with others in the area, and you will find that their prices, accommodations, and location are a much better bargain.

My husband and I have been staying at the hotel twice a year for the last 3 years and just love it. The free breakfast is just wonderful and so convient as we have to go to UAMS hospital very early and don't have time to stop anywhere. They also have a bag to go at the front desk if you are in a hurry. All of the people are very helpful and nice. The area is very quiet and has a subway and another resturant accros the street. I can't say enough good things about the hotel. I'ts a great place for kids too with the inside pool and hot tub. Shopping and resturants are nearby.

Our room was beautiful and extremely clean. We rented the room with the large jet tub and it was perfect. Will definitely go back to that room again.

It was great! Called to see if we could check in early (had the grandkids with us), he picked a room near the pool, and had it cleaned just as we got there, early!! It was great to have breakfast ready for 5 grandkids!!

I was impressed by the size of the room. The furniture was in great shape, and the bed was really comfortable. The wireless internet was quick and hassle free. I only noticed a few small problems with the room - the lamp near my bed had a broken power switch and the trash can by the work desk had not been emptied from the previous guest. As hotel problems go, I do not consider these to be particularly bad as I have experienced far worse in my travels. Actually, I highly recommend this hotel. I found the front desk service to be excellent. The breakfast was surprisingly good with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles and many other common breakfast foods. When I need to stay in Little Rock again, I will be staying at this hotel.

“Mgmt was MIA during late night party in the hall”

There were several issues during our 2 night stay at this hotel. Both evenings we could not enjoy the pool because of childhood birthday parties. In both cases, there were multiple children registered to one room. We paid extra to get an indoor pool for a winter getaway. I'm very unhappy that could not take place. Additionally, the noise level in the hallway and surrounding rooms was excessive to the point of preventing sleep. The first night it was a boxing team practicing in the hallway. The second night it was loud converation, multiple door slams between rooms and drunken teenagers arriving back to the hotel at 3:30am. We attempted to reach the manager on duty the second evening to ask for assistance but could not reach anyone by phone. Very disappointing. We paid extra to make sure we had a pleasant experience with a reputable chain. We will think hard before booking with them again.
