Pros: Comfortable bed & great breakfast.
Cons: Building & facilities issues
Location: Right off the highway.
Check in was quick & easy. We were given directions to the ice machine & elevators. About half an hour after arriving & settling into our room the front desk clerk called to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I was very impress with this gesture. The beds were comfortable & clean. Breakfast was superb! On the other hand, the elevator closest to the end that we were on was not working. The stairs had a caution cone out where some of the concrete had broken loose. I found the ice machine on our floor, however, it was not working & looked like it had not worked in some time. The center elevator looked like it had not been cleaned in ages with a nasty smell. The curtains in our room had dust caked on them. The top of the hvac unit needed to be cleaned. The pool was closed for maintenance, which would have been nice to know upon arrival since it was warm & humid. I reported all unsatisfactory items to the woman upon check-out. The highway noise was prevalent. If you're a light sleeper, pick something further off of the beaten path.

For those expecting a peaceful sleep, this is not the place. From the moment of check in I was uncomfortable. I was repeatedly hit on by the front desk clerk and his friend at the counter. If I was traveling alone I would have went to a different hotel. Their comments on my appearance were extremely unsettling. I was traveling with my sister, fiancé and son and after 14 hrs of driving I needed to rest. After heading to the room on the second floor passing rodent droppings along the way, we attempted to sleep. The highway was literally right outside the door, so I spent the night worrying about the creepy men at check in and listening to the constant buzz of traffic. People have rated this hotel as "you get what you pay for", but I didn't even get that. I will be writing a letter to La Quinta Corp when I return to let them know of my extreme dismay at this locatiom

Only complaint, I had worked most of the night and wanted to sleep late. Could not find a "do not disturb" notice in the room so the room cleaning lady came knocking at 11 am and woke me up. Not really the fault of the hotel or a major concern. I'm sure I could have got one from the front desk

For the price of the hotel, you can't expect the newest/nicest room. It was clean and comfortable. I was most impressed by the staff, very outgoing and willing to make sure we were as happy as possible. They were always courteous and kind. When we checked in, we were happy with our initial room. I called the front desk and the front desk man couldn't have been more helpful. He even apologized for the inconvenience and error with the room, which impressed me since it wasn't his fault personally. We got a new room and the rest of the stay was great.

For the price, this place was great! We were gone all day to a tournament and only back to sleep. The room was comfortable. You could hear highway traffic, but it became ambience. Doors open to outdoors. Breakfast was much nicer than I expected for the price. They only left 2 towels daily, which required me to walk down and get more. It's an older motel, but appeared clean. We left our pillow and they called us the following day to let us know. Fortunately, we still had friends in the area that went by to pick it up. Due to price, the clientelle were workers that had come down to work storms.

Hotel was nice enough, but I got panhandled as soon as I got out of my vehicle, and my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Hotel service was good, room was pretty clean, and it was a very convenient location.
