Neat older hotel and the manager was very nice.Posted Mar 14, 2015
Pros: It is just an old motel with the neat feel of the good old years when the build nice buldings and built them right!
Cons: Just an upscale restaurant.
Location: River Market is just down the street you wine and dine any ot the hotspots.
This is really nice hotel and for its age is very well kept. Close to downtown activities but would nice if it had an upscale restaurant there and would probably bring in a lot of people with some advertising. I live 20 miles away and stayed here so I could do my UBERing. I will be back soon.

Cons: They could be up front concerning their policies and regulations, instead of charging my credit card without my knowledge.
I made reservations for 4 nights and had to cancel the first night due to inclement weather. checked the hotel's regulations and policy. if I canceled before 6p the day before I wouldn't be charged. When returned home I had a charge of one night on credit card. nothing was said at the hotel. I called and was told that I was a no show.

Horrible hotelPosted Mar 10, 2015
The hotel was not clean! Our room didn't get cleaned when we went out for the day. Our keys were deactivated when we had three more nights on our reservation. The list goes on. Some of the lights in the room didn't work, the cable didn't work. We only got a select few channels not all that were offered.

NicePosted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: The balcony was really cool.
Cons: No smoking hotel but the residents have to smoke in their rooms or it wouldn't smell like an ashtray in the hallways. No odor in my room.
Location: There is a small hole in the wall Chinese food place about a block and a half that was fantastic.
The place is old but don't let that stop you. It's a hotel no real frills in that. The heater in my room (it was in the 20's out) was broken and it was either full blast or nothing. I couldn't have been more thankful to have the balcony so I could open the door periodically to cool the room down. 1/2 mile from the Little Rock Marathon start.

Very Old HotelPosted Feb 26, 2015
I'm sure that this hotel was once a grand place to stay many, many years ago. But now it sits in a neighborhood I did not feel safe in. The halls were drafty. The elevator was as old as the hotel, and approximately 3' x 5'. The Continental breakfast consisted of toast and cereal. Maybe some coffee but I didn't notice as I was too shocked at seeing a pop machine instead of juice? (We ate at a fast food restaurant.) The room itself was small but ok. The sink was inside the small bathroom so we had to all take turns showering and brushing our teeth, etc. There are 2 buildings to the hotel, although they appear to be 1. We were in the back building and the only way to get to the lobby was to go outside and walk up through the parking lot. I was not happy with my choice of hotel. I world never stay there again!

Clean downtown hotelPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: cheap and clean
Cons: Needs updating
Location: downtown near everything
Use as a good , cheap , clean and well located hotel when I visit my daughter . I feel safe staying there alone or with my husband . This hotel is getting old and needs to be renovated badly, but serves the purpose for me.

Historic landmark needs updatingPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: As a historic site, the lobby was interesting. The halls and our room were very shabby.
Cons: The bedspreads were crooked. The bathroom door had water damage at the bottom and a hook at the very top which made the hook unusable.
Location: Downtown was shut down when we arrived. Clinton Library was open the next day.
We were given our room number by the desk clerk, but would have had difficulty finding it if not for another staff person in the elevator. The hallways on the 2nd floor had half flights of stairs that led to other rooms. We had to go up and then down again to get to our room. The desk staff was not helpful. Little Rock was shut down (including restaurants) from a snowstorm.

Clean, great staff, nice locationPosted Feb 22, 2015
The room was clean. The staff was incredible. Breakfast was sad. Close to the River Market and Capitol. The hotel is old and desperately needs updated decor. If you can look past that, it's a great place to stay.

My stayPosted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The price of the suit
Cons: The hotel could use some upgrading and they could give a better complimentary breakfast. The inside of the hotel is some what outdated.
it was a peaceful experience. It was ok, it was a good experience
