Not worth the price.Posted Apr 27, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel vehicle parked in covered drop off lane, so guests drag bags in through rain. Front door w/a handle, not auto-open, so you set your bags down in the rain to get in. NO ELEVATOR to 2nd floor. Lady at front desk very nice and helpful; room icky: hard floor with spot that was not cleaned (made me wonder what else was not cleaned,) bathroom was gross: only 6hr from home so did not shower there, waited until home; breakfast pitiful and dining area dirty (coffee gone by 725am.) So glad it was only for 1 night.

Almost perfectPosted Apr 20, 2015 on Hotels
The ovrrall experience was great. I give this hotel high marks for customer service. The room was not quite perfect, but it looked really good. Ours was very fresh looking with vibrant colors and hardwood floors and nice furnishings. The bed was moderately comfortable. One downside to the room was the power outlets. There were not many available after the various lamps and other electrics, and the pkugs from our devices would not stay in them. Today's travelers, like us, have many electronic devices that need to be charged, and the outlets were nearly non-functional. While the rooms (I assume all of them) have been updated, the lobby and breakfast area have not. They appear not to have been in maybe 20 years or so. The confused rooms and outdated lobby gets this hotel a 4 out of 5 rating.

An average experience.Posted Mar 9, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was very dated but the room was clean. There is no real neighborhood around, just more hotels and a few fast food joints. There must be a very busy train route nearby because I heard their horns all night. Overall not a terrible place to spend a night while traveling through, but there are some better hotel options off the same highway exit. Also, do not bother with the continental breakfast.

NYE @ Red Roof InnPosted Jan 4, 2015 on Hotels
Needed a place to crash after the New Year's festivities, Red Roof Inn obliged. The staff was courteous, room did not have any odd smells, and the linens were clean. Their water did take a few minutes to heat but aside from that minor inconvenience there were no outstanding issues of note. All in all, an experience that I would not mind repeating.

Stopped to rest from a long road trip and was very happy with my accomodations here. The room was modern and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
