“Quiet Room”

Though quite near a 4-lane highway, we never heard any highway traffic. The hotel was older but there were no unpleasant odors. The bed was quite comfortable for these one-night travelers. The AC worked very well and kept us comfortably cool, too. We didn't eat breakfast but it sounded good. A couple of fast foods places just about half a block away.

“Across Country Travel”

My son and I were traveling across country. He has a dog so we looked for a hotel that would take dogs. Super 8 was conveniently located, clean and near restruants It is an older hotel and shows some wear and tear but clean and friendly

“Not bad for the price”

The hotel is close to the interstate (one of the +s for us), but once you turn on the ac unit you don't hear the traffic. The shelf in the shower needed repair. The used a strong smelling cleaner in the room, so if you're sensitive to smells that's a small pain. But overall, not bad for the price when you're looking for somwhere to spend the night. If you're looking for a place to hang out, you might want to look somewhere else.

“Definitely Cheap and Clean if that's what you need”

The rooms were extremely clean. Our only complaint was that the room had a very strong distinctive odor to it (almost like embalming fluid but probably just mothballs or carpet cleaner, maybe??). We thought maybe it was just the one room and asked to be moved to another and the second smelled exactly the same. Not an awful smell just weird. The front of the hotel is facing the highway and you can definitely hear trucks as they drive by. Didn't stop me from sleeping, though. The "continental" breakfast offered no fresh fruit but the eating area was also neat and clean. The hotel definitely serves its purpose but my taste calls for something just a little more up-scale. I "got what I paid for".

Hotel is old and could use some updates but it was VERY clean and comfortable. Good price! Hotel employees were very nice and courteous.

We needed a comfortable place to stay near the airport and we got a great deal for the money. Very satisfactory.

“Decent Place To Stay”

This motel is not bad as some Motel 8's are getting to be. This is not a 5 star motel, but it's not the dumps either. I've stayed at this motel several times over a 10 year period and it has improved from the past. Not what I would call a "family type" hotel, no facilities for children or toddles, it's more of a "travel" motel. The room was nice but showed obivious signs of use, the maintainence upkeep shows in several ways. The desk staff was friendly, the lobby was very clean and inviting. The morning continental breakfast was nice with the usual assortment of sugar goodies. The price is reasonable for this type of motel, wouldn't pay more than I paid. The motel is located within walking distance to several food sources and gas stations, the location is perfect if your visiting Little Rock or North Little Rock.
