Not the Ritz, but you can't beat the value

Posted Jun 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for single-night stays or for leisure, because it isn't anywhere near anything tourists would want to see. However, it's great for short-term business stays (I stayed here for 7 weeks). The kitchen includes a 2-burner stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator, cutting board, lots of cabinet space, and a sink. All plates and utensils must be brought or purchased from the front desk! The bathroom is big but there isn't much storage. The beds are comfortable, though the bedding could use an update. There are TVs in each room, and you can request to be in one of the rooms that was just upgraded with a new flatscreen TV. There is also a dresser, under-bed storage space, and a hanging rack for clothing storage, and I felt that it was definitely sufficient. In regards to other people's complaints of slamming doors, it's not a fault of management, it's the fault of rude people and lightweight doors. I never had issues with the cleanliness of my room or the safety of the building. There are cameras all around the front, and only people with room keys can enter the building. The hotel itself is way on top of a hill next to an academic building, everything at the bottom of the hill is just office space and car dealers, so you don't need to worry about anybody breaking into your car.

Decent hotel for the price.

Posted Oct 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
Let me start by saying that this is very much a budget hotel. Keeping that in mind, it exceeded my expetations for the price. There are some issues, but if you are looking for luxury, go somewhere else and pay 4x the price for it. I stayed there for three weeks in september for training and didn't mind coming back here each night. Yes...I did see a roach. I've also seen a roach in a 5 star hotel, so not a huge deal. For one night the elevator was down, but fixed the next night. The hotel was secure with no entry after hours unless you have a room key. The TV was a small tube type and the remote didn't work. Since I was there for training, not entertainment it was not a huge issue for me. The front desk was very polite and greeted me when I came in. It's the little things... The room itself was very comfortable with plenty of room. I didn't use the kitchen, but the full sized refridgerator was a huge help for someone on a budget. All in all, I would definately stay here again. The next more expensive hotel would have cost me almost twice as much. If I were a family on vacation, I would pay for a more expensive hotel, but it was exactly what I needed at the time.

Nice Location

Posted Sep 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
The stay was very comfortable. IMPROVEMENTS:1) 2 times a week cleaning instead of once a week, especially for weekly guest, 2) Key drop box for early morning travelers. had to slide key under office hoping they would receive the key. 3) Upgrade TV. TV plays but need an upgrade 4) Iron and Ironing Board loaner. Some travaler have no room to pack an Iron. Overall the stay was good.

economy hotel

this hotel is in a good location and has the lowest weekly or monthly only rental rate. However, it is extremely basic, with loud seedy people. So if you want absolutely no ammenties and loud banging doors and 1 elevator that is barely functioning and breaks down often this is the hotel for you.

Not Good

Posted Oct 10, 2011
Tried the hotel because it was reasonably priced. That is the only good thing I can say about the hotel. I constantly hear the people in the next room talking and slamming doors. I could not walk across the floor without having flees all over my legs. This place is not clean, and I will not be staying here again.

It's better then staying on the street!

Posted May 22, 2011 on Hotels.com
If this is the only place you can afford to stay, then it's better then nothing. The mattress on the bed was horribly nasty and very uncomfortable. It was a metal innerspring mattress that looked like it was about 15 years old. I requested a non-smoking room, but was put in a smoking room and the smell of smoke was so over powering that it caused my allergies to act up. I know that I will never stay at this hotel again. The one positive is that it is tight on security. If you aren't a registered guest, you aren't allowed inside the hotel.
