Friendly B&BPosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Friendly helpful owners.
Cons: Difficult one, if I were really picky then a shower and softer bed, but existing was fine for us, we has a great time.
Location: House on a lane leading to the beach, good pub with food at top of lane.
Two bed B&B with lovely owners and great breakfast. We has a good time there, were not expecting much as we usually go 4* hotel but were pleasantly surprised. Lovely house and owners, use of wifi, sun lounge, garden and parking. They have two very friendly black Labradors that were no problem. Close to the beach which was great for walks.

Very warm welcome. Lovely room.Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The warmth of welcome, cleanliness, and really convenient for Chichester.
Location: I was only passing through and stopping for Chichester Festival Theatre.
A very warm welcome with an equally welcome offer of tea or cold drink. The room was extremely comfortable. Jules went to a lot of trouble over breakfast: especially yummy fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and toast. Only possible negative to be aware of is that the stairs to the bedroom are narrow and steep. Great if you are young and fit!

"A superb retreat"Posted May 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location was excellent, being close to many amenities, yet surrounded by countryside and birdsong. The room was peaceful and thoughtfully decorated. The host and hostess were charming and the food was fresh, well presented and plentiful. It could not have been a more enjoyable week.

I have stayed at Derwent House a number of times now and ALWAYS get a very warm welcome. I have no hesitation in staying again. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is great.

Very PleasantPosted Apr 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a really enjoyable stay. Having spent a day in Arundel, it was lovely to be able to arrive at Derwent House and have an hour or so to relax before setting out for an evening meal. The room and en-suite were very clean and the bed comfortable. Excellent nights sleep followed by a wonderful full English breakfast. Jon and Jules were extremely pleasant and helpful.

Friendly Bed and BreakfastPosted Apr 15, 2014
A pleasant change from the soulless chain hotels I stay in while working away. Friendly host, large comfortable room and a beautifully cooked breakfast.
