Great Weekend BreakPosted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed at Clifton Villa for 2 nights. The hotel was clean and comfortable although the room and en suite were on the small side. The cleanliness was good and breakfast was a pleasant experience, with plenty of choice and the coffee was superb. I would use this hotel again if I was to return to Southport.

Easy to find &10 min walk from the station. One of the best showers I've ever experienced in a B&B, really powerful & hot. Bathroom was a bit cramped, but not a problem & I think I was in the smallest room anyway; all the others looked fine. TV, tea & biscuits in the room & a full monty breakfast any way you like it. Will definitely stay there again.

EXCELLENT B&B IN PRIME LOCATION OF SOUTHPORT.Posted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
I WAS DELIGHTED WITH EVERYTHING. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ONLY A ONE NIGHT BUSINESS STOP-OVER I WAS SO PLEASED TO FIND SUCH WELCOMING OWNERS (COLETTE AND JIMMY) THEIR RESIDENCE IS IN A PRIME LOCATION, JUST OFF LORD STREET (MAIN SHOPS) AND A COUPLE OF MINUTES WALK TO THE PROMENADE AND TOWARDS MAIN PIER AREA. VERY WELL MAINTAINED PROPERTY THAT STANDS OUT FROM OTHERS IN THE STREET. ADEQUATE PARKING WHICH IS ALWAYS A PLUS TOO. I WAS OFFERED THE CHOICE OF TWO ROOMS AND EVERYTHING WAS VERY COSY AND CLEAN. VERY NICE RELAXING LOUNGE TOO. WI-FI EXCELLENT CONNECTION. PLENTY OF GOOD RESTAURANTS AND CAFES WITHIN MINUTES WALK EITHER WAY. HOSTS ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY ACCOMMODATING. QUALITY HEARTY ENGLISH BREAKFAST COOKED TO ORDER. TRULY CAN RECOMMEND. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN. THANK YOU. KEVIN. (WEST MIDS)

Very good location between amusement park and Lord Street, but room was small and pokey with hand-basin located in corner outside toilet / shower room. Nice breakfast room and breakfast.
