“"Looking forward to going back"”

Terrific hotel, this was our fourth visit, for the first time we had a slight setback. They always serve an excellent breakfast and we always look forward to it however on this occasion we were disappointed, I won't go into detail, I will say that the staff dealt with it superbly and we were suitably recompensed. We would still have gone back, we know from experience that it was just a hic-up and look forward to our next visit.

For an overnight stop, this hotel was very good. We were most impresssed with the staff, who were friendly, welcoming and competent. We were intereted to see how the building has been adapted to a hotel and what we found didn't disappoint. Great decor!

“Wonderful building!”

Loved the use of Art Deco as a theme to enhance the old control tower building for Speke aerodrome. The architect has done a great job blending the new hotel building with the old tower. Shame the old tower bit is off limits and there is not much of the airport left around the hotel to continue the theme. Views from the windows not very inspiring - it would be lovely if someone could 'donate' more retired aircraft to distract the eye from the factorys and brown-field sites. Having said that, the hotel is lovely and the staff so friendly and pleasant. I would certainly use the hotel again and recommend it to friends.

“Excellent hotel, quiet location”

High quality hotel, one of the best i have stayed in in the last 10 years. Very comfortable and very quiet, I had expected some noise being close to the airport-but nothing at all. Friendly staff and the hotel I will look to book on my next visit to Liverpool

“Excellent Airport Hotel”

We had an excellent stay at the Crowne Plaza, in Speke. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfy beds. We enjoyed an evening meal in the bar, and had a good nights sleep before our flight to France. The down side was, no courtesy bus, but with the low tarriff and car parking price, a taxi to the airport (5mins. journey), was ok. We would certainly use this hotel again.Lesley

If I ever need to go back to the liverpool area, then we will definitely stay at the Marriott Liverpool South.

“REV AT THE PLAZA”

Both my husband and I had a super time at the hotel. The interior design was brilliant relfecting the original art nouveau decor of the 1930's. One almost expected to see Hercule Poirot appear around the corner. The inclusion of planes outside the hotel gave an authentic feel and reminded you of the original purpose of thebuilding many years ago. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. On the following morning the breakfast was good as was the service. I would return to this hotel to exploe Liverpool in the future.

The receptionist - Diane was very helpful. We were quickly booked in and suggesting a place to eat in Liverpool and dealt with the carparking arrangements at the hotel.
