“Cheap and cheerful!”

Have stayed here before so knew what to expect from the accomodation-basic but clean. Excellent base to explore the surrounding area and if you have kids a great place to keep them occupied. Was pleasantly surprised with the food, great choice, hot and tasty.

“Realistic review.”

Having read the reviews I nearly didn't book Pontins but took the chance because of some of the reviews, I'm glad I did. My party was a family of four, with a 5 and an 17 year old. The 5 yr old loved the pool and play areas, the 17 yr old loved that sky sports was available in the bar. The whole place was family friendly and though we didn't need any assistance from the staff, they were always atentive and ready to help if needed. The room. Ok, if you are used to the Dorchester you will be disappointed but the rooms have been refurbished and were spotless. Our room had a new cooker, new microwave, ironing board (still in the plastic) and every other piece of funiture was in excellent repair. The food. Typically there were 4-5 choices at meal times, inc a veggie option. Gamon, scampi and curry were options on our last day. We used it as a base to go to Anfield, which is less than 30 mins away by car.
