“Excellent”

Its hard to say a bad word about it. The location is simply excellent. The service and accomodation are to a very high standard. The view from the swimming pool on the top floor is well worth a visit. We used the hotel pick up company to be collected from the airport which cost 24 Euros and I would recommend them as well.Lovely compact city with lovely people.

“The place to stay in Ljubljana”

Excellent location, the place to stay in the city. OK the rooms in the newer part are 'standard international hotel', but that doesn't matter. Breakfast excellent, one of the few in the region we found with hot choices.

hotel located right in the heart of the city a minute's walk from the christmas market and the fantastic lights. very comfortbale hotel though we were in the newer wing. spacious non-smoking room easy to relax in. breakfast was really good as two of our party were vegetarian and had plenty to choose from. hotel had some wacky christmas decorations made of sugar.

Very Good Hotel

“Fantastic Location”

We stayed for three nights after getting a very good internet deal on rates. As other reviews have stated the Hotel rooms are large, clean and standard international, but this doesn't matter, as after having an excellent breakfast you can make the most of the Hotels Location. The Hotel is a very short walk (2 mins) from the triple bridge across the Ljubljanica River. From here you can explore the many shops, bars, restaurants, market etc and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Ljubljana. Would definitely come back.

“A Great Place to Visit”

This hotel was in a great location of a very beautiful city! Only a block away from Preseren Square and the Triple Bridge. The hotel has free internet access. The hotel works with the Orbita shuttle company (shuttle can be charged to room) for easy transit to/from Ljubljana airport.

Beautiful building, excellent location for all the sights and close enough to walk from the railway station, even with luggage. Highly recommended. Very good breakfast!

A great welcome to Ljubljana - a good place to stay to explore the capital. Just next to the beautiful triple bridge, we were very impressed. As long as you don't need a stunning view from your room!

“Excellent Location”

The hotel was very central and close to all the places of interest. Excellent breakfast with fresh crepes, fruit, cold and hot meats and cheeses. Also the only hotel in Ljubljana with a swimming pool (on the roof)! Also very convienient if you wanted to rent a car as Budget cars office was actually inside the anneex hotel (Grand Hotel Union - Business) to which you had acess via a connecting corridor (so even if it's raining, you don't get wet !). The staff were friendly and polite and the rooms were very clean. We went in the height of summer but didn't even need the air conditioning on since the hotel was well shaded and every room had very high ceilings making them very airy. Even in such a central location, inside the hotel was quiet and the double galzing windows made sure the any external noise was shut out. I had a very pleasent stay and would definately recommend this hotel.
