Would not go backPosted Sep 28, 2013
Location: It is very near the main tourist area, a quick 5 min walk.
Really doesn't seem like a proper hotel. The room looks unfinished, the pillows were uncomfortable. There is a construction site next door that works as an alarm clock. You are sent around the corner to a greasy spoon for breakfast.

Pleasant hotel central to facilities, good valuePosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Convenience and location, value for money and friendly staff.
Cons: Provision of credit card facilities
Location: Located within comfortable 10-15 minute walks to central bus and train stations, old city and Tivoli gardens, and close proximity to restaurants.
My wife and I spent two nights at Hotel Center during the Eurobasket 2013 Championships. Helpful information on events and locations was freely available and staff assistance with sundry enquiries was appreciated.

Good value, good locationPosted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
A quick walk to the train station and city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and in good condition. Lots of noise from street below but windows had to remain open due to heat in room and no air conditioning.

great service, clean rooms/washroom - no elevator however, and also cash only.

Would returnPosted Jun 5, 2013
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value and clean room with modern fittings and high-ceiling. Easy walking distance to old town, convenient for transport and not noisy despite proximity to main road.

Great little hotelPosted May 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed here for two nights with a few friends. Very friendly and awesome service. They allowed us to check out a couple hours later (which is difficult for a small hotel like this because of the tight cleaning schedule) because we were out partying the night before. They also provided us with good info on tours and stuff to see. Rooms were relatively spacious and clean. After leaving a 4 star hotel in Budapest, this hotel was actually a huge step up. 5 stars!

Great hotelPosted May 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We got in a room that definitely could use a little work renovation wise. The walls could use a bit of work and in the shower I ran out of hot water after about 3 minutes. The room was also quite warm at night and luckily for my friend he was incredibly tall and could open the top window so it didn't go from really hot to really cold. Now with all that being said the difference maker was the receptionist. She was incredibly friendly, incredibly helpful, and she was great to put anyone in a better mood. She is the difference between this being a below average hotel to being an above average hotel. I appreciate great service more than anything and that is exactly what we got. So all in all, good hotel and I recommend it and hopefully they address the issues I stated above.

Lovely hotel, maybe bring earplugsPosted Apr 15, 2013
I found this hotel to be very clean and in a good location (easy walking distance to the old town centre, though it is itself on a busy street). The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and offered suggestions of what to see/do within Ljubljana. One small complaint would be that although the rooms have good soundproofing, the doors do not and you can easily hear your neighbours arriving/leaving their rooms, as well as people walking up and down the wooden staircase. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel staff fantasticPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff here were brilliant. Always helpfully and going beyond the call of duty to ensure a great stay. Gave brilliant restaurant and sight recommendations. Rooms were clean and bathrooms brand new. Location was great, a short walk from the main square and the river which had most of the bars and restaurants.
