"lovely hosts and yummy breakfast,"
We stayed here whilst visiting friends in Inverness, the GPS wanted us to go down the wrong track but we realised there wasn't a sign so we carried on a little bit further and found the right track with their sign. It's a rural property the horses and donkeys in the next field add to the charm. It's a lovely property with great hosts, being rural it's quiet, bedroom and bathroom newly renovated and all very satisfactory. We enjoyed being out of Inverness and recommend the Dores Inn for a casual evening meal on a summers night, sits at the top of Loch Ness with great views and fish and chips!

"Beautiful view of Loch Ness"
While this hotel is located a little way from Inverness, it is located in the hills overlooking Loch Ness. From the outside it is a little dated, but once you get inside the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food at the bar is good. Its location makes for quiet nights and it has incredible views of the Loch

"Kings Inn - A Home Away From Home"
Lovely stay at this very pleasent & Friendly B&B, great location to all the local sites around Loch Ness. The breakfast was perfect, the owners extremely friendly & helpful. The internet connection was excellent, one of the fastest we have had on our travels. The room was very homely and all in all felt like a little home away from home. Would recommend to everyone travelling to & around fort augustus & Loch Ness.

Pocket Guide: Scottish Highlands Loch Ness Eviivo Small Hotels

Known as the home of 'Nessie', the monster supposedly lurking in the depths of Scotland's most voluminous lake, Loch Ness is a popular destination in the Highlands. Ramblers can explore the medieval ruins of Urquhart Castle, whilst more experienced walkers can hike the 113 km of the Great Glen Way. Cruises operate all year so visitors can appreciate Loch Ness from its best vantage point: the water.
