Nice on the outside; so - so on the inside

Posted Jul 24, 2015
This is a really cute hotel externally and offers a small, but well kept pool and a lovely little courtyard with a couple of picnic tables with umbrellas. Also the desk was manned by a very nice and accommodating young man. We were staying just one night and noticed the drains/toilet a little slow to drain when we checked in, but didn't mention it as they did eventually work. Come morning, the toilet didn't flush. When we told the front desk it needed fixed, they sent a maid with a plunger who simply handed to my husband and left. My husband worked on it for sometime to get it to work as we were afraid of being charged a plumber's fee after we left since they had our credit card number "for incidentals" (we had paid the room rental to Expedia upon booking). Finally, it still was not working very well, but did flush slowly. Hopefully we won't incur any inappropriate "incidental" charges.

Grat Stay

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The area felt safe and very quiet.
Cons: Not really, the breakfast would have a little more.
Location: Its a farming community, so its quiet and not a lot of noise.
Everything was clean, the staff was very nice and I would definitely stay there again!

What happened to friendliness in this industry

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Better than the last motel.
Cons: STAFFING....CLEANLINESS
Location: Close to fwy
This hotel stay comes with a continental breakfast, however be prepared to get the 3rd degree prior to enjoying your cereal or waffle. My son was told he could not eat due to his appearance. The staff running the front desk said he looked homeless and was not welcome. This was even with the use of a guest card stating who stayed in each room. Once they realized he was not lying as they claimed he was able to eat, BUT went back for more (remember its only cereal and waffles) the clerk told him it was not an all you can eat buffet and could not eat anymore. She later stated it was a joke, but after the homeless comment...well you get my drift. Besides, if your homeless and need a room for a night, does this mean you cant eat??? Outside the room laying on the ground and in the flower beds were drug paraphernalia. I watched as maid after maid walked passed never picking up this mess. The next morning we had rebooked the room out of shear exhaustion, however when I went and asked the front desk clerk to let me in to the LOCKED DOWN breakfast I was told I was being kicked off the premises and they would cancel my following reservation. When I asked what the problem was he stated the very same person who insulted my son also said we had people in and out of our room throughout the night. Apparently your not allowed visitors while staying at this motel, including family (my younger, clean cut, son) and a friend of mine. Both only staying for possibly an hour at most. NO EXAGGERATION

Next Door to Loud Night Club

Posted May 27, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I don't know what can be done about the nightclub. But the guests are questionable to say the least.
Location: There is a good Italian restaurant right next door.
The room was not clean. There was something on the wall near the bed and I don't even want to know what it was. The carpet was dirty. There was a night club next door and all we could hear and feel was the vibration of the music. There was a seedy element to the environment there. We saw several guests going into their rooms with girls and cases of beer. One even scrapped our car with their car. We didn't stay the night. When I left the employee didn't seem to care why we were leaving. If you are looking for a safe, secure, quiet place to get a good night's sleep, this place is not for you.

We would very much like the opportunity to personally apologize for the inconveniences that you went through during your stay. We will address the issues to our housekeeping department. Although we cannot choose our neighbors we will be contacting the next door business regarding noise oridence.

You get what you pay for but...

This is a budget hotel but at the lower end of the spectrum. It served our purpose but I cannot claim to have had a good nights sleep.

Basic

It was basic at best. Waffles, coffee, cereal, orange juice and a couple pieces of bread was breakfast. No rolls, pastry, eggs, fruit or yogurt.

DIRTY

Posted Mar 7, 2015 on Hotels
We were traveling with our teenage daughter and one of our grandchildren so, we booked a King size suite at this hotel, when we arrived we were very tired after a long drive we were ready for sleep but as we were opening up the hide-a-bed we found drug paraphernalia under the cushions which meant that our room was NOT cleaned properly we brought it to the office and the night manager changed our room to a smaller room that was cleaner but after our experience in the previous room we were not able to rest in comfort like we had wanted or hoped for. We will not stay here again.
