Nice refurbished room, but noisy

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: clean, spacious
Cons: Noisy
Location: Lodi is not a destination. We were there to see friends.
We were pleasantly surprised by the upgraded room. Staff was friendly upon arrival. The only negative is the location. Nestled between CA HWY 99 and Cherokee Lane in Lodi, California, noise was an issue. I was very surprised that the windows were not double paned, thus allowing an incredible amount of noise into the room. Other than the noise, the room was clean and spacious and nicely appointed. If noise is not a concern, I would recommend this Motel 6 highly. I was nicely surprised by it's cleanliness and spaciousness.

Cons: Have more amenities.
Location: we were attending a conference in Stockton so we did not do anything in the area.
It was clean and appeared to have been renovated recently. Staff was friendly there were no bells and whistles, no continental breakfast no coffee or tea in room no ironing board. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Smokey Smelly and Sketchy

Posted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: coffee was decent
Cons: refurbish entire non-smoking wing with cleaned and painted amenities.
Location: if you can'y smell or hear then you'll be fine to stay here. Many restaurants near....is that really a "perk"?
The non-smoking rooms stunk like cigarette smoke. Trying to cover it up with a room freshener only makes it smell worse. Sketchy people staying at hotel and lingering around. Lots of train and freeway noise. NOT staying there again.

I have stayed at a lot of Motel 6, the best one!!!

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Clean and not worn down like other Motel 6 I have stayed at.
I do a lot of traveling and stay at a lot of the less expensive hotels. This is one of the nicest hotel for the price I have ever stayed in.

Just Right

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave was very handy. The rate was very reasonable.
Cons: Handicapped access to rooms from the parking lot. Oil door hinges regularly. Iron and ironing board should be available for use.
Location: We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Lodi Beer Company with colleagues from the Lodi Antique Show and a visit to the A&W Rootbeer Museum at 216 E. Lodi Ave
Motel 6 Lodi continues to be our first choice for accommodations when we are in town as vendors at the Lodi Antique Show on the first weekend in January. We appreciate the polite and helpful staff, who do a great job of keeping their establishment clean, pleasant, and safe. The wing where we often have stayed- by the main office- was being refurbished, so we were in another wing across the parking lot. While the rooms were just as nice as always, access to the room for a person with a handicap was more difficult. To get from our car to the walkway that led to the room, I'd estimate I had to lift my foot and leg up 7 or 8". That's not easy and quite painful if you have hip or back issues. I had to walk quite a distance to find a lower step up from the parking lot. We were welcomed kindly upon our very late arrival by office staff. As we tried to unpack quietly so as not to disturb our neighbors, we discovered the bathroom door hinge created a very loud noise when opened or closed. Ever resourceful, I applied a bit of coconut oil I just happened to have with me, moved the door back and forth a few times, and the problem was solved. A little squirt of WD-40 by maintenance every now and then would fix that problem for sure. While hanging our clothing in the closet area usually helps to keep things less wrinkled, sometimes we need to iron a shirt for a special event. We were pleased that an iron was available for loan in the front office, but unfortunately no ironing board.

pleasantly surprised

The front desk called after letting me settle to check to make sure I was enjoying my room. I expected an economy room, it was nice. Large fridge, microwave, couch, desk, and my room had a bathtub not just a shower. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was expensive and I would stay there again without question. Thanks motel 6-Lodi, Ca.

Pleasant surprise

Needed a place to stay midway through trip and only needed a place to spend the night. The staff were helpful and the room was clean, bed comfortable. Parking near the room was available. For the price, I was expecting less. Very quiet. Just off the freeway. Nothing close to eat at night, but a short drive away on Kettleman there were many places to eat--fast food and sit-down restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome hotel room for a great price

My stay at the lodi motel 6 was great. Was surprised at how nice and well kept the hotel room was. Cleanliness is just about the most important thing for me and this exceeded my expectations by far. Bathrooms were neat and spotless,
