Booked a junior suite for the family and when we got there they said they didn’t have any available so we had to get a basic room instead. Staff was rude and careless. Breakfast was terrible

My family and I had a great experience. The pool area was nice, the breakfast was great and our room was really nice better than expected. Would definitely stay here again!!

There was a mix up with the room. The hotel staff immediately found other rooms that worked fine. Nikki, at the front desk was very helpful, and even comped the rooms for us because of the hassle. We would stay there again.

The bottom floor room we were given was in the very back corner of the property, and it was blocked by an enclosed stairwell tower. Our door led directly to the outside which made it feel very unsafe. Additionally, because of the stairwell, we could not see our car and that made us equally uneasy. Once we entered the room, we were overpowered by a horrible stench, and everything looked dingy. The room did not even come close to the photos on the website, so we decided to leave. When we returned to the office, we told the front desk clerk that we would not be staying. Immediately she asked, "Is it because the room looks different than the photos?" We nodded our heads. She then said, "I totally understand. You are not the only ones to leave. We are in the middle of a remodel and our website is not up-to-date. Contact the company who did the booking, and I will approve a refund. My husband then verified that she had the authority to approve the refund. She responded with, "I am the front desk clerk, they will speak with me, and I will approve it." We left, found a new place to stay, and then contacted the booking company. Today, we received an email from the company and were told that the motel management is refusing to refund our money. The entire experience was frustrating but the lack of integrity from the front desk clerk will not soon be forgotten.

Not a great experience!
My first issue was with check in. The clerk said the Mastercard number on my reservation was invalid. I booked it on my American Express and showed them that I had been charged. I ended up having to pay again with my checking card. The room had several box elder bugs in the window and bathroom. There was virtually no hot water when we tooks showers the next morning.

Great room, reasonable price!
The rooms and amenities were certainly better than average. Clean towels, roomy bathroom, ironing board, table and chair for work, plenty of light, etc. There was plenty of options for breakfast food included, and the staff were very helpful. The only complaint is the carpet was a bit sticky in a few spots that looked to be something like gum smashed into the carpet. Location is great being downtown and plenty of parking.

Beds are not very comfortable. Pillows were ok. Rooms need updating. Shower did not get very hot unless you turned it all the way on hot and then the flow was not very strong. Toilet did not flush well either. Even with only a little toilet paper, you sometimes had to flush twice. That being said, it was surprisingly quiet, they have a decent pool and workout room. Breakfast was ok, typical of most hotels.

Needs and update. Cheap & old.
I came to town for parent weekend at USU. Great service by front desk attendant who corrected a reservation error I made. However, room was outdated, kind of smelly, and the AC/Heat unit sounded like a lawnmower in my room all night. I think most people would have complained or left, it was so loud. I was too tired to bother for my 2 night stay. Towels were small & thin, no soap at sink, and the only port for phone charging was broken.

Fine room, horrible location of room for sleep.
Beware the rooms that face the indoor pool if you are trying to sleep at all before 11:00pm. We needed to get some sleep with an early morning expected, but there are several rooms, including 101 where we were, that face directly on the indoor pool with its very loud echoing room. I don’t begrudge the families having a good time at the pool, that’s what it’s for, but the layout for these rooms is very unique, and should be a separate option at purchase. Those who wish to be poolside should be able to opt in and those who need early sleep should be able to choose other rooms at purchase. As is, it was impossible to sleep with the pool noise. Otherwise, check in was great, with friendly staff. The room itself was what you’d expect from a Best Western.

I wish someone had told some that a “pool view “ room meant that the loud, echoing voices from that area would be drifting up through the thin walls and windows until 11pm. People weren’t being abbormlaly loud, but the building design is a poor idea and I was kept up when k had to wake up at 5am. They should at least close the pool to kids by 10pm. People sitting quietly in the hot tub wouldn’t have been a problem. But we could even hear the constant splashes of the kids jumping into the water amplifier by the giant echo chamber. I’ve never been at a hotel with this kind of design. The building was also a bit dated, though maintained fine. Next time il pick Hampton inn down the street.

The water was turned off from 9 pm to 5 am and when we checked in we where not informed. No showers and no toilet flush. We called the desk and we were told checkin knew and didn't tell us.

We liked our stay. We stayed only for one night, but our room was spacious and clean, so we wish we stayed longer. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious. Swimming pool area is big and clean. We highly recommend this hotel.
