“Not what I expected”

The room was large as was the bathroom and there was an extra sink outside the bathroom. However, there was no elevator. We had to lug suitcases up stairs. The rooms had exterior entrances. The pool and hottub were in a separate building which was not too convenient, especially when it was cold. The lobby computer was not working but the desk clerk did let us use the hotel computer to do our airline precheck in. The breakfast was ok. It was ok for the price.

“Average hotel. Felt like I got what I paid for.”

This hotel was nothing fantastic. The service was fine and they gave us the rate we signed up for even though Expedia booked us into a smoking room despite our reservation being for non-smoking. The room was basically clean, but in need of some repair and some stains on the carpet.

“Great Service”

The hotel is a bit aged, but it was still great. Great location and great service.

“Nothing Special”

Hotel staff was friendly, but the overall condition of the room was poor. Small TV, phone didn't work, toilet seat hinge was broke and a small leak in the ceiling by bathroom. We only slept there and the location was quiet. We got what we paid for.

“Big Mistake”

Would never recommend this hotel. I was in room 128, and I should have known from the state of the door that this wouldn't be a good stay. The door to my room was unable to lay flush to the jam, due to some bending of the top part of the door. At least the locks worked. But I could see daylight through the gap. Carpet was badly stained; wallpaper was damaged; phone didn't work; and I had to move the alarm clock to the bathroom alcove because that was the only outlet that would hold a plug without it falling out. The clock itself had switches that were iffy, at best. There was no outlet cover where the cable came out of the wall for the tv, so it just hung there. The foam of the ironing board cover was falling out; the counters had pieces of laminate missing from the front; the shower rod was hanging downward at a bizarre angle from the wall, as if someone had hung on it, so the musty-smelling shower curtain could not stay closed. I had two towels, one of which also smelled musty. Other hotel guests were noisy and disruptive. I found another hotel for the rest of my 3 nights in Logan when I realized what the night would hold (around 10 at night), slept restlessly, got up at 6 to get checked out early, and then moved to a better place. This hotel was fully booked for the night, (as are a lot of hotels in Logan in the summer) but it was definitely not worth the price.

“Good place for the money”

I got what I booked (King bed, large room), and the people I dealt with at the desk were cordial at both check-in and check-out. This is an older-style hotel, but the housekeeping was good. I saw a previous comment about not having temperature control before I booked but that's wrong - the room had an individual heat/AC unit with adjustable controls in the unit that worked well. The breakfast included yogurt, pastries, bagels, muffins, 3 types of juice, milk, hot chocolate and coffee cereal, waffles (fresh cook on the iron) and sausage (maybe more, but this is what I remember). The location is in the middle of the city.

“A good hotel”

Overall we were very pleased. The motel is very clean, it has a great location, had a very good breakfast for a motel that size, & had good service. The only things we didn't like was that it has a heater that is a bit noisy, also very flat pillows. Next time, I would bring my own.

“not bad, as long as you know you get what you pay for”

my wife and I stayed in the King suite room, which was bigger, had a couch, fridge, microwave, and big jetted tub with a separate shower in the bathroom. For the price, you can't beat it in Logan. A similar room at other hotels was over 30 to 40 bucks more. That said, you get what you pay for. It's not the nicest place in town, and could use some updating... but knowing that going in I was pleasantly surprised with the King suite. We'd stay there again.

Area recommendations
Lot's of shopping and eating choices in the area, but if you head a bit further north on main street, you'll have a plethora of choices.

“Average Quality at an Average Price”

Pros: The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. Everything in the room worked. The hotel was right in the middle of town with close access to restaurants and convenience stores. Cons: Could not connect to the internet. Room was not controlled by a thermostat, so it was usually either too hot or too cold. Continental breakfast consisted of packaged pastries and cold coffee.

“Not impressed”

This hotel was really run down. It was dirty and had the stail smoke smell. The AC/Heat didn't work and it was so loud. We could hear every move that the neighbors made. This room should cost $30 at the most!
