Fabulous hotel within its own grounds
This is a fabulous hotel within its own grounds, I felt like I should have been paying 2 or 3 times the amount I paid. The young lady on reception was very nice and could speak excellent English. Meals were offered in the evening and provided for every budget. I thought my meal with two beers was exceptional value. Grand luxury at economy prices I loved it.

A good place to stay if travelling to or from the north to the south. Good big rooms, very clean, wallpaper peeling in places but acceptable. A bit overpriced for what you get, snack bar does not open until late.

San Camilo is a Gem!
We had an overnight stay on our way down to Costa Blanca. The hotel is lovely old style with fantastic grounds all around which our dog liked for his walks. The restaurant (although very brightly lit could do with more ambient lighting) was very good and the choice and quality of the food was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The price was excellent value for money.

Nicely located, assuming you have a car. Within 20 minutes (max) driving distance of many winery towns (El Ciego, La Guardia, etc.). Very quiet property for relaxing. Covered carpots for nice shed. Breakfast, nothing out of the ordinary; I would rather try that in the many places found in the towns around. If you are driving to the hotel, be aware that at the entrance gate, may be an additional sign that indicates "Bodas Hotel" or something like that, but over the gate the "San Camilo" name is indicated.

Wonderful Hotel for Exploring Rioja by car
This hotel was a real gem. Large, comfortable rooms, great breakfast,and good parking. The price was an exceptional value for the quality of the service.

Boat trip to Spain
Very quiet, nice and clean, breakfast was good.very helpful staff. Situation not very glamorous but all in all a good nights stay. Some of the countryside we had seen was beautiful and the air was fresh and clean.

Spacious non-chain hotel close to the motorway
We spent one night here, breaking a long drive from Santander to Valencia. We arrived late evening on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't open, but that was fine as we had dined en route. A disco function was going on loudly in the extensive event room at the back of the hotel, but that stopped at 9.30pm. Our twin room (2 x queen-size beds) was spacious and high-ceilinged. Plenty of room in the bathroom too. The shower in the bath was fitted with a large plastic backplate featuring many water jets, but once we'd figured out the controls it was possible to use it as a conventional shower! Excellent buffet breakfast set us up for our early departure the next day to continue our long journey. The hotel is very close to and easy to find from the motorway.

Private setting, in the middle of nowhere
Hotel was clean and some what comfortable but the key was needed to connect the electric which would have kept the air-conditioning on to cool the room. The air-conditioning was not working in my friends' room and it took long time to reach that conclusion. The hotel staff did, however, change their room. When trying to arrange to visit the "Museo del Vino", I feel the hotel staff should have clarified better why we could not have visited the museum without the tour.

Imposing older hotel set in spacious grounds off the main road but only a short distance from motorways. Ample free safe parking.Free wi fi in good size bedroom with first class en suite facilities. No evening meal available (Sun.)but receptionist gave directions to restaurants in the very interesting old town of Navarrete which is less than a ten minute walk away.Great place for stopover going to ferries at Bilbao or Santander or for touring vineyards of La Rioja

Charmantes Hotel, gut geführt
Das Hotel ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber seinen Charme erhalten und wird gut gemanagt! Das Bett ist sehr bequem und auf dem gesamten Camino Santiago haben wir keine so „ blütenweiße“ Bettwäsche und keinen so gepflegten Park gesehen! Ein Kompliment an das Management! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel weiter empfehlen!

Sorpresa muy, muy agradable
Hotel de tres estrellas, cuyas habitaciones son de 4*, por decir que de 5*. Normalmente está uno acostumbrado a lo contrario. Decir que fue una muy grata sorpresa. Recepción muy, pero que muy amable. Me apunto este hotel para repetir seguro.
