Budget hotel, centrally located, 5 minute walk to castle & town center, walkable, parking available on street, included breakfast was good, staff is nice, rooms are basic with minimal confort. Fine for 1-2 days.

Location is the main advantage here. Other than that the hotel is pretty basic, a little too basic for my taste meaning i didn't even have a paper cup in the room. Also i had issues with the room key card every single day, although i didn't keep it close to my phone as the receptionist kept telling me i did. I travel alot but i've never had this kind of problems with a key card, i believe the card was of a very bad quality and was getting easily demagnetized. Instead of blaming the guests they should have checked the cards with the supplier but i guess it's easier this way. Anyway, hotel was ok but i wouldn't go back. I'm sure i can do better for that money.

This hotel is right in the middle of Blois with easy access to the town centre and the chateaux. The staff have been really helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

The staff is really nice. The hotel is clean. The problem us the size of the bedrooms. The room was so small that two people couldn't move around the bed at the same time. There was no place to put your luggage or personal toiletries. I don't think that it deserves a 9 rating.

Lovely friendly receptionist in convenient city centre hotel. Parking a bit challenging as there was a special event in town. Room was clean and comfortable but the layout was unusual - very small bathroom on right then a long corridor to the bed area. Double bed was spotless with crisp white sheets. Bath towels a little threadbare but also clean and functional- a great option for the price.

The property is in a great location, well valued and breakfast was very reasonable. The parking is 8 Euro a day and not too far. Pay attention though, it's a public underground garage and a bit of a 1/4 mile loop around. I was looking for a restaurant to eat a particular type of French meal and the gent at the front desk, named Mohcine, went beyond a simple ask, calling several restaurants and even making the reservation. Great attitude and initiative. Merci Mohcine.

Nightmare in La Loire Too many incidents to include in this review.Following the highlights: Ibis Blois Centre Chateau trains its employees in La Santé Prision, otherwise I dealt with small village, narrow-minded, uneducated, and ignorant staff that are openly confrontational. Do not even think about a nice welcome and or a smooth check-in; Forget about housekeeping: it is nonexistent. When I complained about it, the shift "manager" challenged me... twice! ,first, proposing a face-to-face with the maid, otherwise, directly with her. Needless to say, in the hotel business, not in a prision like Ibis Blois Centre Chateau, the issue will have been addressed immediately, without discussion and after apologising profusely. At least that has been my experience in 40 years of travelling. Later, this person offered no charge for breakfast in lieu of the circumstances (but no apologies whatsoever!). Too little, too late; Very small rooms, mine looking to the town’s main street, very noisy all night long; Granted, the hotel is in an excellent location, in a destination where the tourist area is so small location becomes irrelevant; A light at the end of the tunnel: a decent breakfast overlooked by efficient staff and a very good deal for parking. Period.

Perfect location for town centre stay.
Great location in town centre, paid parking very close by. Breakfast buffet good quality with reasonable selection. Staff attentive and helpful. Rooms modern and generally well kept. Hangjng space very limited for a family ofv4 in a family room (no wardrobes, hanging rail very short with few hangars).

This hotel seems to have been relatively recently renovated, with somewhat stark, but very clean and simple appointments. I had no complaints at all about my room, which had a good-sized bathroom, and adequate space in the bedroom. My friend had a more oddly shaped room, with a bathroom that was a bit of a tighter squeeze. Hers was a room with 2 beds, which would have been fairly tight if there had been two guests in it. The biggest issue with this hotel is the parking situation. They have an agreement with the Chateau parking lot, so you can park there. But it is a fair distance away. We were lucky enough to manage to get street parking, which is very limited, but available with some tenacity and good parallel parking skills. It is free from 6:30 pm to 9 am--I also downloaded an app (Prestopark) which allowed us to buy 2 hour blocks for 3 euros, which meant we didn't need to rush to be out by 9 am every morning. But it was all quite complicated, and the (otherwise very nice) desk staff struggled to explain it all to me with my imperfect French. I would strongly recommend that the hotel put together an info sheet in English, so that guests know what the options are and how they work.

Great position near to the Chateau
This was an ideal choice for our overnight stop in Blois. Parking was nearby and the hotel allowed us a small discount. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist. The room was very small but ok for one night. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable and we particularly liked the openable windows. We found the bathroom very small but the shower was very efficient and it was very clean. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Very convenient hotel next to the château
I was lucky with my last-minute booking at this beautiful hotel. Recently renovated room, very comfortable. They have a special space to safely park your bike. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff. The hotel is located next to the Château.

Small but cozy
Perfectly located. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was varied and yummy. No place to pull up a car and check in; if you have luggage you just have to find a place to park nearby before arranging with the front desk to use the local garage. Overall cozy and clean.

Great value hotel to stay in ideal location
We really enjoyed our stay at Blois Ibis. All the staff were extremely helpful, including the chamber staff. The location is excellent. The room was a bit small but adequate. Lots of hot water and a powerful shower. The breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again. Parking was at the Chateau five minutes away. Lots of shops/restaurants close by.
