Pros: The owner's dogs were great
Cons: It can't be fixed
Location: Weird location remined me on the movie "Deliverance"
This is a strange location and a strange hotel. The staff actually were nice, but the rooms and actually the entire property are fatalliy flawed. I don't know who designed this hotel but nothing really works. It should be leveled and started over....except the location probably will not support the expense.

Pros: The drive and scenery to the hotel was beautiful. The main lodge was wonderful, as well as the staff.
Cons: Updating the queen room would be great!
Location: Great local eateries in Lolo.
Unless you are looking to get far away from civilization, this is not the stay for you. We weren't prepared for no cell phone service, no tv or internet. Had we read their services, we would have realized that we had to pay for the use of the large pool area. The inside smaller pools were nice, but felt like we were invading someone's private bath. The queen room is very basic necessity. However, the bed was like sleeping on the box spring and the sheets were not comfy. Let's just say we had a place to lay our head and was thankful for a warm room.

do not stay

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: deception in advertising
Location: we left
We did not stay because of the condition of the room. The photos of the motel were not of the room they gave us. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Pros: There is also a separate facility with pool and hot spring which is very hot. The lodge has two hot pools which are very nice, great temperature.
Cons: fan in room was very loud and switch and little sensitive.
Location: Hiking, scenic views
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer pizza you can bake in a designaepizza oven - delicious. There is a restaurant next door but not much for vegetarians.

Disapointing Birthday

Posted Sep 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was pretty excited to stay here for my birthday. My room looked nothing like the website or brochure. The outside of my hotel wing was cute and sided with log but the inside must have been a trailer from the 50's? My husband said I should lower my standards. I say no way. I paid darn good money and I would rate this room in my top 3 worst all time. The mattress and curtains look like they were from 50's or 60's. The shower was so moldy and gross I wouldn't use it. The bedspread was dirty. The carpet looked upgraded but honestly this place needs to burn down and start over. I hate being so mean since the people that worked here were friendly and the lobby was nice as well as the hot springs soaking pools. It was a long drive to be so disappointing. If it wasn't a dark and dangerous windy road I would have driven back to Missoula.

Lolo Hot Springs comfortable and close to Nature

Posted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
50's style hotel is close to many beautiful trails. Super helpful staff got our hotels.com registration done quickly. Comfortable clean hot spring water in the lodge was refreshing after hiking on the Moose Tracks trail. The Scenic Highway, Lewis and Clark trail runs on Highway 12 into Idaho . Some very beautiful places are a long ways down the road that is winding and loads of overlooks, historical markers and trail heads for Our trip had some wide load and temporary one lane road detours that were a little scary.

Beautiful countryside, outdated and dirty room

Posted Aug 28, 2014
The room was tiny, there was dog hair all over the blanket and it had holes in it. Very very dingy and outdated room. Fantastic views and peaceful, thats all I can say good.

Hot Springs great - hotel, not so much

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: The hot springs and the people
Cons: The beds! The room could have been cleaner. There was dirt on the floor behind the bathroom door.
The room was very much a budget room. It was adequate, but not good. The bed was uncomfortable to the point I had a backache. We were in the annex, so maybe the main lodge had better beds... I did like the hot springs and the people were nice.

Pros: The appearance of the room was at least nice.
Cons: The staff service and the food.
Location: The Lolo pass visitor's center was 8 miles away, and that was wonderful. Other than that, there really wasn't anything you could do around there.
We stayed 2 days. But they didn't make the beds or give us fresh towels. Also the breakfast was terrible.
