Hotel close to stationPosted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: Closeness to everything in Tirano for using the trains to get from Milan to t Moritz using the Bernina Express
Cons: A ramp for suitcases to get into the hotel
Location: This is a cute little town, very clean and a nice walk around it was quite cold so having a hotel where you could eat was nice and the food good.
This hotel is in a good position close to both train stations. It has everything you could want even though the room was vey small. It was a little difficult getting the suitcases up the steps to get not the hotel but overall no problems.

Directly opposite start of Bernina ExpressPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: It had character - rooms with different themes - and was very well located next to the railway station but no noise from trains.
Cons: Air conditioning would have been good - pretty warm while we were there - but there were fans.
Location: Perfect location for catching Bernina Express to Chur. Near nice restaurants and cafes. Sightseeing train stops outside.
Reasonably priced with good breakfast and differently themed rooms. We were under the eaves and my daughter had a separate room as I had opted for a 3 bed room, which was excellent. Shower was interesting - various additional features which took some working out! Pity water pressure wasn't a bit better. Excellent location and friendly staff.

Perfect LocationPosted Jun 2, 2013
Pros: Convenience to railway station and awesome restaurant
Cons: We could only stay 1 night
Location: We would have liked to stay a few nights in Tirano as it is a very pretty town with lots of history
Wonderful views of snow capped mountains from the room and great restaurant downstairs. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure is fantastic in the shower. Highly reccomended if you are travelling on the Bernina Express as it is on the opposite side of the square from the railway station

proximity to station and town excellentPosted Oct 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
Loved the location restaurant overpriced but comfortable. one hour into breakfast some of the items had run out and were not replaced.Overall some staff members need to improve their attitude. Grumpy does not work in hospitality nor does telling the customer that what they experienced was not possible.

Bernina HotelPosted Jun 11, 2012
Pros: Location was perfect as we were leaving on the Bernina Express the following day and only had to walk across the road to the station.
Cons: The male waiter in the restaurant the evening of our arrival.
We were very pleased about all aspects of our stay at this hotel, except for the rudeness of the male waiter in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival. Perhaps he should remember that the customer pays his wages.
