Nice hotel. Nice pool. Good breakfasts.Posted Sep 7, 2014
Nice hotel. Booked the deluxe room but upgraded to a bungalow for two of the four nights. Deluxe room was fine, but this place is all about the bungalows - they were more luxurious with lovely outdoor bathrooms. The first deluxe room had a smell from the drains, but they were happy to move us to a different room. The deluxe rooms are set to the side and do feel like the "poor man's" accommodation, but still fine with nice bathrooms, especially if you can get a good deal. Lovely pool area and usually no problem getting a sun bed. Breakfasts were very good with lots of choices. Had lunch and dinner here a few times too - food was good (portions on the small side though). Bicycles and horses were easy to obtain, but be aware that you are away from the action (we saw this as a good thing).

Beautiful hotel right on the beach, average servicePosted Aug 11, 2014
The hotel itself is gorgeous and the facilities are very clean and new. Great value for money! The pool is great with lots of chairs and umbrellas. Chairs, umbrellas and beanbags are available on the beach also. The location is a bit off the beaten path so it's a little more quiet and great for couples. We stayed in a bungalow which was beautiful, marble tile floors, nice furniture. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The only negative here would be the customer service. The staff was very friendly but a little disorganized, it takes 10 mins for them to realize you're sitting at a table and bring you the menu, another 10 mins before they take your order, drinks sit on the bar forever etc. The food is excellent though and once you do get the staff's attention they're lovely. I would skip the spa though since my esthetician forgot about the foot massage and most of the polish from my pedicure ended up on my toes rather than toenails... If you're quite particular about customer service, maybe eat dinner/use the spa elsewhere in the island but the facilities are beautiful so I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Direct view of the sunset!Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The view, the tranquility.
Cons: Communication between different departments could be better improved.
I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel, with good sunset view definitely! For those who love to be away from the main town area, this would be a good hotel stay. However I've made pre-arrangements for a 2 way transfer, but on the day of arrival i was left standing at the airport looking around for the name on the signboard, but saw none. Had to figure out my own as to how to get to the hotel, and at that time it was already all dark, though it was 7.30pm. Made a pre-arrangement as well for a birthday cake for my husband on the last night of hotel stay, but again, it wasn't being delivered. And expectedly, i went to check if there was any arrangement for transfer on the day of departure, there was none.

Amazing!!Posted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel really made our holiday - the location is ideal - away from the main hustle and bustle but a short bike ride in to the centre. The staff are more than friendly and helpful, the facilities of the hotel such as the swimming pool were perfect and the beach front, especially at sunset, was so peaceful and relaxing. Have nothing to fault about this hotel and would highly recommend.

Perfect getawayPosted Mar 25, 2014
I visited Ombak Sunset with my boyfriend at the end of March and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and value for money at the resort. We got a very good deal as we visited off-season (which I think, is better as it is quiet and peaceful), paid for a hotel room but got an upgrade to a bungaloo. The staff was very nice and friendly, loved the pool facilities and the private beach with sunset cocktails / entertainment lounge. The location is c. 30-min walk away from the central side of the island, however, we found it actually better as you are away from the crowds and can enjoy the sunset. Nevertheless, the walk to the other side of the island alongside the beach is a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend it as a very romantic destination for couples.

Nice hotel, but far from town areaPosted Feb 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Gili T is a nice place to visit, and Ombak sunset is a nice hotel, well maintained, a big and nice swimming pool, white sand beach, plus the rooms are big and in good condition. However, the hotel is far from the town area, which take 20 mins hourse car to reach the harbour area.
