This is a very nice "mini" luxury hotel

Pros: Breakfast buffet and the comfortable bed
Location: It is in the center of Mataram....so there is not much to do here. More of a business hotel.
Had a very nice 2 day stay at the Hotel Santika in Mataram. I'm going to mention the location first....it is 10 blocks every direction from anything but office and government buildings. So definitely not a place you walk out the door from looking for a restaurant or a store. I gave it 4 out 5 stars only because of the location. Otherwise it was a great hotel and excellent value. The room was definitely a great place to sleep, very comfortable. There is a small air conditioned weight room and a small outdoor pool which was nice. Lobby and common areas were good. And they also have an excellent breakfast buffet which I enjoyed very much. If you have a car or are taking taxis everywhere (nobody seems to walk in Indonesia anyways) this is an excellent choice if you need to stay in Mataram.

Pros: Clean, breakfast, staff
Cons: The shower kept on running for what felt like 10 min
Location: We walked to the city mall which is about 1-1.5 km away. Not much to do in Mataram really. Visit the Coffee House in the mall.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. You get a nice welcome drink on arrival. Definitely include breakfast as it is amazing - the choice of food exceeded expectations.
