“Comlimentary happy hour on Mon - Fri awsome!”

This is an older looking hotel. However, for an older hotel, it is clean. The big bennifit here is the Mon - Fri complimentary happy hour. You can get wine, beer and cocktails from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Bar staff are very friendly. The comlimentary breakfast is very good. You can order off a menu for fresh cooked from the grill or serve yourself from the buffett. Staff is also very freindly. Overall, a good place to stay for tavelers taking short roadtrips to Solvang and the surrounding wine country.

“Bed bugs room 131 and 206...”

After my bed bug examination on the 4 corners of the mattress, there was definitely bed bugs... We were sent to the suite 206 and unfortunately the bed bugs were waiting for us again. The hotel employee said there was no more room available. Later, the other employee sent us to another room that had not been cleaned since the last 2 days and we had to clean it and change the bed by ourselves . At least the mattress had no bedbugs. The employee gave us a discount but even there, I would not recommend this hotel. Book somewhere else...

“superior two star facility”

as noted by others, this hotel has lots to offer, including great complimentary breakfast and cocktail hour. Only small glitches: no appropriate cups for the in-room coffee maker; the tv is a beautiful flat screen, but coudn't get it to display any channels. three remote controls, no instruction sheet. this hotel is spotless and very pet-friendly. easy access to the wine country and jalama beach park. the town is not a tourist destination, but is very attractive with nice murals.

“If Only All Hotels Served This Way”

Concierge/Check-in desk personnel were friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Included with room rate is made to order hot breakfast. Delicious! Included with room rate is free Happy Hour....Drinks and Appetizers Did I mention the free ice cream 24 hrs/day at the front desk? The furnishings in the room are a cut above. The TV is 42" screen with a DVD player. DVD's at the front desk. A very best value.

“Room + Breakfast?”

I've never stayed in Lompoc before - we usually stay in either Solvang or Buelton - but everything was booked and, heck, this was close enough. When we checked in, the desk clerk was very friendly and fast. She gave us a run down on a happy hour that was available from 5pm to 8pm and that breakfast was also available in the morning. The room was clean, as I expect of Best Western, and it was comfortable. They must use it as an "extended stay" too, though, as there was a full sized refrigerator/freezer in the room and a microwave. It was quiet and we slept well. The next morning, we decided to go to breakfast in the dining room and were so surprised that it really was BREAKFAST...sit down & order breakfast! Omelets, waffles, etc! And, it was all included in the price of the room! You cannot beat that. My sister got an omelet with spinach, which was actually fresh, baby spinach, cheese, etc. I would definitely recommend the Best Western Plus O'Cairns Inn. Oh, and be careful because right next door is the O Cairns Inn...NOT the Best Western!

The hotel was great. It was clean, the staff was friendly and they went above and beyond all expectations. The hotel offers a complimentary happy hour, free DVD rentals, a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, and more. I'd highly recommend it.
