We used this as a base for a couple of days in London recently. The price was much better than others in central london. The hotel was clean and hassle free. Literally a few seconds from the tube stations or 5 minutes in a cab from westminster.
Although it was really central didn't hear any noise and got a good nights sleep both nights.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Opposite the elevators so little bit of noise but didn't disturb my sleep. Good location, convenient, quick check out and check in. Very good value for money. They can't store any luggage for you if you arrive early or want to store it after check-out, which is a shame- only negative thing about the hotel (I guess they have no spare space). There is also no communal area to sit Overall great experience.
The Hotel was ideal for what we wanted and a fabulous location. The only criticism I would have is .... only one bar of soap ( no shower gel, shampoo etc ) and no hairdryer! Having travelled down to London on the train I tried to travel 'Light' and assumed there would be a hairdryer in the room. Panic Panic Panic.... No hairdryer. The rooms were basic but were suitable for our stay as you don't go to London to spend all your time in your room! Bit basic but would stay again no problem (and take my hairdryer with me).

This room had a sofa with twin mattress tucked underneath. To sleep, the mattress was pulled out so that someone is sleeping on the floor. There was no soap in the bathroom, and the lights on each side of the mirror in the room had no bulbs. We were moved three times before being placed in our original room. One room that we were given was already occupied by someone else. Staff was quite unorganized and seemed not to know what was going on.

Was charged 8 times on my card by receptionist who was negligent, rude and unapologetic. Street noise and window that would not close made sleep impossible. No towels in room. Beds very narrow and uncomfortable. An unpleasant experience.

For London you get space, but I would trade that for a good night's sleep. This hotel is wedged in the corner of Gray's Inn Road, between noisy traffic and incessant trains. On a Saturday night there is also raucous partying on all sides. The noise is not eliminated by shutting the windows - and even if it were, there is no air-conditioning, only a fan, so you would NOT want to be there in summer, and definitely not on a weekend.
