Wonderful accommodations and staffPosted May 12, 2015
Pros: The location was perfect. We loved being in the Queen's neighborhood! The staff was so helpful--Nelson and his crew were wonderful, as was Zuzannah!
Cons: Our breakfast was not included and we thought it was too expensive to eat there in the mornings.
Location: There was little grocery store very near and we ate breakfast across the street every morning at Crumpets--delightful people and yummy!
We were 3 1/2 hours late getting into London and therefore to our hotel, but we were greeted by such lovely people upon our arrival. The warm, moist towels were very welcome. We were also upgraded upon arrival. It was a very welcome deed since we were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday! We stayed in the Falconers building and our room was spacious and gorgeous! We love spreading everything out and we had more room than the 2 of us needed! The heated towel rack in the bathroom was a great treat and the double sinks helped us both get ready at the same time each morning! The room was exceptionally quiet and very clean. We only used the little kitchen for coffee, tea and the use of the refrigerator. The concierge staff was incredibly helpful and always guided us in the right directions. They had gotten tickets for us before we arrived and our seats to both events were terrific. The location was quite convenient to many sights; we do wish there might have been more restaurants around. We did eat one night in the hotel restaurant Quilon; it's Indian and was quite good. There are some pubs around and we did figure out that most of the pubs have the exact menus! Westminster is very close as is Buckingham Palace. A couple of the tube stations are also an easy walk. We enjoyed walking and experiencing the underground stations. A lovely, lovely hotel. We will definitely stay here on our next trip--I can't wait to start planning it!

Taj 51 was the best!Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: The amenities and location.
Cons: The rate should include complimentary breakfast.
Location: The hotel is in walking distance of Buckingham Palace and the Victoria Station.
I stayed at the Taj Suites and Residences @ 51 Buckingham Gate because I needed a relaxing and convenient location for the London Marathon. I was very please with my accommodations [my room was very spacious and luxurious] and the staff was wonderful. I will definitely stay at the Taj again when I am in London.

Taj does not disappointPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: The amenities, service and location.
Cons: The noise from the school next door of screaming kids.
Location: Close to Buckingham Palace, hop on hop off bus. Coffee shops across the street. Close walk to underground, Parliament. Quiet.
We were very impressed with this hotel as it was the better price for a suite than other hotels closer to the west end or soho. Excellent amenities We would definitely consider staying at the Taj again if we return to London.

Great stay & locationPosted Apr 25, 2015
We had a really nice room - it was a bit noisy as facing street and it was in the king section so you had to go outside to get to hotel restaurants and spa etc. gym was pretty good in an old part of the basement would be nicer if brighter and refurbed. We didn't use spa or steam as it was separate for men and wen and very very tiny. Was a really good stay we'd come again.

Wonderful hotel!Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Great staff, very accommodating, especially housekeeping. Courtyard had heaters and umbrellas for night caps in bad weather. Nice spa.
Cons: Somewhat low water pressure, with a noisy water pump. Fire alarm flashed too brightly at night. Towel rack was scorching hot.
Location: When we got familiar with the area we appreciated being within 20 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace, Knightsbridge, Piccadilly, London Eye and more.
Would stay there again and recommend it to others. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Cons: We were happy with everything and wouldn't improve anything.
Location: It was so close to many of the sites we went to see and it was very close to the underground tube for travel to anything else we wanted to see.
We had an amazing experience. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. It was a fabulous place to stay. The suites worked well with a family. There was plenty of space and it was very clean and so comfortable. It was perfectly located by everything we wanted to see and to the underground tube. We would stay here again when visiting London again!!!

Amazing hotelPosted Apr 5, 2015
We stayed here for three nights, in a one bedroom suite. The room was large by all standards. The service was amazing, and the location was very convenient also, few minute walk to Buckingham Palace. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Not cheap, but definitely worth it!
