“The smallest bathroom in the world”

We were not expecting the Taj Mahal but we were very surprised by the size of the bathroom. If you have problems with claustrophobia you might want to avoid this hotel. The room was clean but not anything special. If all you need is a place to rest your weary bones after a day of sightseeing in London, it is great. The neighbohood was quiet and restful. The area was beautiful. The staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous.

“If you are just looking for a bed in a good location”

Stayed at their annex building across the street. Room was located on the 6th floor with no lift. No air conditioner and London was very muggy. Received two towels, had to use one as a bath mat. Luckily didn't plan on spending any time in the room. One tv station that played rock videos and reception would go in and out. Cost was cheap so close to what was expected. Also, road construction going on at 8 am with a jack hammer in front of the hotel. Think there were better hotels in the area for same cost. Stay may have been better if room was in the main hotel. Location was great and convenient for walking to park, tour bus, etc. Staff was friendly, though not very knowledgeable, unaware of times for Peter Pan musical and did not offer to find out the information. No computer access available. Ended up checking out a day early. Not confident that I would receive a wake-up call for early am flight.

The price was excellent for London and the location is ideal! 2 blocks from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park in a very picturesque, lovely, quiet setting. Unfortunately there is no A.C for those very few uncomfortably warm days. The staff was delightful and helpful. And we had a private bath.

Only a few minutes walk. Shops and restaurants nearby. There was no WiFi easily available in the hotel.
