The location is fine for UCL visit. Rooms were small and the shower area is tricky. You will have splashes on the floor towel since there was no curb!

A very well situated hotel for transport when visiting london. It is literally 3-4 mins walk from Euston Station and about 12-15 mins walk from Kings Cross / St Pancress station. There are also plenty of busses running from outside Euston station. Dining at the hotel is good and reasonably priced. Good Staff and nice service.

I paid in advance for the room and it was not stated that any further deposit needed to be paid. However a £50 deposit was demanded when I checked in. As I had booked and paid in advance I declined to pay this - they said I had agreed to it showing me the check in slip that they had given me to sign but I had not signed it yet. So they had to give me a room but it was a tiny, tiny room and the man at the desk very haughtily advised me that I would have to pay for drinks and food as I went along as I had not put down a deposit - very condescending as I was only staying one night and didn't need to get food/drink from the hotel! To add to this the fire alarm went off at 2.49am - not for long but still woke me up. So not the place to stay for a good nights rest - I certainly would not stay there again.

Dear Bella,Thank you for your honest review.In regards to the 50 deposit its a costumery procedure adopted by most hotels in london and worldwide, its used to cover for any extras or incidentals that you might have during your stay.In regards to your room size, unfortunately a single room was booked, all our single rooms are the same size as specified in our website.Thankfully he fire alarm on that day was a false alarm but we are glad to know if was a real situation it would have served its purpose of waking-up and warning people to leave the building.

Great location, one major flaw in the design
Great location. Room is small but fine. The bathroom design is terrible: when you take a shower it floods the entire bathroom and the water then doesn’t drain away. There is no shelf space in the bathroom so you can pile on your towel and clothes on the toilet seat so they stay dry. Also there is no laundry service, contrarily to what was advertised on hotels.com.

Close to Euston Station; close to restaurants like Pret and Pizza Express; quiet room; the cleaning staff was quite remarkable and kept the room in perfectly; only small issue was the individual who identified himself as the assistant manager on check-in - he gave us the impression he was doing us a favor letting us stay there.

No complaints.
Used hotel as location convenient to Euston railway station and going to the theatre. Travelled down from Stockport for overnight stay using their restaurant for meal before the show ( restaurant opens 5.30 pm ) & for breakfast the following morning. No complaints with our stay as it served the purpose required.

Last minute booking due to Eurostar cancellation so 10 min walk from St Pancras station the staff were super helpful and friendly our room was basic but spotlessly clean and great breakfast in the morning highly recommend.

Booked this hotel as had a day planned in London and wanted one near to a tube sdtation, quite central. Location was good. Staff were friendly. The rest of it was awful really, the nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The noise from the lifts kept waking me uo throughout the night and if im honest have never had such a poor nights sleep at hotel. Would not consider it to be a 4 star hotel, i have had better nights stay in a premieer inn or travel lodge. The bathrooms are strange too. If you haave a shower, its a wet room so the whole floor floods with water. So if you later need a toilet the floor is all wet by the toilet. I mentioned the noise upon check out, the staff said immediately asking if it was the lifts. So am sure that i am not the first person to complain. They did ask why i didnt call down to change rooms. But after being unpacked, in my pyjamas and getting back at nearly midnight and being half asleep it seemed pointless to do so. I alao assumed that it was that bad, the hotel must have been full up for the hotel to be knowingly letting these rooms so close to the lift. Must have been woken up about 6-7 times, and there was absolutely no chance of a lay in beyond 6am as its just become noiser and more constant. They did provide a free breakfast, which was kind bit would rather have had a full nights uninterrupted sleep as was exhausted and tired the following day.

A reasonable hotel with small rooms and bathroom.
The room in the hotel is small and the bathroom is tiny - one small wet room with a shower which would wet the whole floor. Whilst this is central London, this is quite expensive for what is offered.

Water from the shower did not go down plughole, which meant the bathroom floor was like a swimming pool, after a shower. Also, while in the bar one of the evening, a male staff member was very easily irritated by him getting order wrong. It meant that staying in bar was not really enjoyable.

The hotel was below average. Our room was small and dated. It faced the alley that was across a building under construction. The worst part was the check in process. It was quick but we didn’t feel welcome. The front desk staff looked at me and simply said, “Yes?” He was joking around with a colleague but when he faced me there wasn’t even a smile or a hello. After he checked us in and looked at my passport, he looked away and resumed the conversation with his colleague. No pleasantries at all. The air conditioning wasn’t working and the safe was broken. For the price, we expected for things to work and a little more customer service. We chose the hotel for its location. Russel Square, Euston and St. Pancras International are all within a short walking distance. We stayed for 5 nights and were relieved to check out and move to the next city. Not recommended.

Not 4 star. More like a budget brand.
Unfortunately does not live up to expectations of a 4 star hotel. Not the hotels fault but we missed our first night due to storm and had missed the change/cancellation policy by one day so I was still charged full amount despite only staying one night instead of two. We were given a twin room when we had booked a double, (I’d also asked for a complimentary upgrade for special occasion) so really didn’t expect a downgrade. Thankfully the staff were prompt in fixing the problem. However, new room was very small with no air con and tiny wardrobe space. The bedroom carpet was stained and there was a weak spot on the floor between the bed and bathroom door. Perhaps typically for London, the street noise was disturbing during the night and even on the 6th floor I could hear early morning joggers plodding by. In addition to that, we encountered the fire alarms sounding within minutes of each other. Had to go to reception in a towel as the maid on our floor wasn’t sure if it was a real situation. Fortunately it wasn’t. According to another more frequent guest, it happens regularly so perhaps something they need to check out within their fire alarm system.

This hotel lobby and restaurant was very nice. However the rooms were not as clean. The bathroom had a weird smell, the carpet was filthy and the ironing board they gave me was disgusting. I had to place a towel over it. The staff were very nice and friendly. The gentelmen Steve was so nice and helpful.
