Good location and reasonably priced for HeathrowPosted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is a converted semi and overall I thought it was reasonable for the price. The room was clean as was the ensuite bathroom and the bed was comfortable. There is a pub a very short walk up the road which seemed to be full every evening I walked past it. I had a look at the menu and it was pretty comprehensive. There are some shops nearby although it is a longer walk. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast included although when you book it does say you get breakfast. Apart from that it's not too bad location wise if you have meetings in the larger hotels but don't want to spend huge amounts for staying 2-3 nights.

Very poor, small room, suitable only for one night stay; but clean. The guy at the reception did not speak english, which was a problem. The price compared to other Airport hotels was chepest but you are going to pay the difference in the taxi fair (more than £30).

For the price 46 pounds, the room was fine. Very small single, but that's all I needed for an overnight. My complaint is about the taxi from the hotel to the airport. Prior to arriving at the hotel I received an email with a phone number to a taxi company to call instead of using the airport taxis as they are more expensive. I called the company, was told I would revive a call in 20 minutes when the cab arrived. I recused a call 30 minutes later asking where I was and that someone would call in 1 min. No one called, so I took the airport cab, cost 14.50 pounds for a 10 minute ride. On checking in I told the check in person I would need a cab at 4:30am as I had an early morning flight. He said no problem. At 4:20 the cab was there. 5 minutes only to the airport, as no traffic, and this time 22 pounds. I asked the driver why? He said there is a surcharge for early morning. I said I only paid 14.50 to the hotel and that traffic was worse. He just said that was the rate. I had no choice but to pay it. My feeling is that the hotel gets a kick back from the taxi company.
